I appreciate you adding that it’s important to set goals that “work for you”. I totally understand the extent you and Alex took your “season of no” to because of your extraordinary goals. We’re definitely implementing “no” too, but with a more balanced approach.

Hey Leila, Thank you for making this video, the tips you shared in this video were so helpful and it completely changes my habits on being productive!! Keep up this weekly consistency, and passion for creating. I am a supporter of your content!! Btw, my name is Alex, I am a 14 year old kid, that dropped out of school to pursue helping teens learn fundamental skills for life that the school system never provides them with. I have a podcast for teens where I get very inspirational and insightful people to share their wisdom and the lessons they uncovered along their way. I would love to have you on my podcast for a short 30 minute episode. I know my audience will greatly benefit from your wisdom and I would really value your time. Thank you in advance.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 📱 Unfollow on social media to remove distractions and focus on important tasks. 01:21 ⏰ Don't respond to texts immediately; teach people how to interact with you by setting boundaries. 02:18 🔌 Use your phone as a reward; keep it out of sight until tasks are completed. 03:00 🚫 Recognize seasons of "no" to prioritize productivity over social commitments. 04:46 📅 Proactively schedule deep work time to avoid constant reactivity to others' needs. 05:21 🎉 Be selective with obligatory celebrations; prioritize what truly matters to you. 07:14 🤝 Focus on outcome-driven interactions to make efficient use of your time.

1. Unfollow everyone on social media that doesn't contribute to your goals 2. Don't respond immediately to messages 3. Use your phone as a reward to hard work, don't work near your phone 4. Season of NO! Freedom is the ability to say no, because you say yes to the most important thing 5. Deep work time, schedule time in your agenda for deep work 6. Prioritize your own celebrations, don't let national holidays, birthdays or drinks with friends ruin your schedule 7. Have outcome focused interactions
