I’m 38 years old, I own my own business, and I have never been able to manage my negative emotions until I started watching your videos. When I feel something bubble up, I instantly tell myself it’s just a feeling and I’m able to move forward I finally feel like I have control over my emotions and I wanna thank you for that!

Leila, I'm 23 years old, $100k in business debt, about to file a bankruptcy. I feel so desperate, doubting myself EVERY SINGLE DAY in the past 3 months since I closed down my previous business, wanted to quit, but I chose to get back up and start another business that require little capital, work on the business at day, Uber at night, 16 hours/day in the past 2 months, use Alex's 2 books as my bible. I don't know what's going to happen but seeing this video gives me strength. Thank you.❤

I love you, Leila! I am 26 years old, and I left my corporate job 3 years ago to provide graphic design services for marketers. Since then, I have experienced a rollercoaster of emotions that were sometimes overwhelming, but I never considered giving up. My goal has always been to make money online and live a rich life, and I am grateful to have found you as my mentor on the internet. Your videos have helped me stay accountable for myself and my business. I recently had a tough time, and watching your videos and Alex's was crucial to getting me out of my emotions and taking massive actions. These massive actions resulted in excellent results, and I'm living my rich life! I used to focus too much on my feelings until I finally found you! Thank you for being you and being such an inspiration, THANK YOU! I am confident I will meet you in person one day to express my gratitude. I love you!

Thank you. This was a revelation. I'm 34 years old and started my own law firm five months ago after a very successful and secure seven-year career, with a goal of doing good in the world. This was such a validating gift. You literally just helped me realize that months of frustration, venting, dumping, and feeling like an inadequate failure (and also taking cry showers too) was... normal. Whoa. As someone in the middle of the bottom part of the sign curve of entrepreneurship (you checked down my list of experiences with stunning precision), this just flipped the script on my assessment of where I'm at and how well we're doing. Thank you for tearing down the script that says "let's not talk about how hard this is." You are achieving your goal of making a difference. I look forward to paying it forward.

Thank you for your words. I feel completely invisible to the world. And I'm starting to give up hope. I have failed miserably at trying to build a business that will just keep my family and I feed. I'm trying to do this while battling with my body and recoverng from stage 4 Thymoma cancer and recent hysterectomy over the past 18 months. But I can't slow down. I have to push through everything regardless of what I'm dealing with. Starting over isn't easy...nobody said it would be, but I'll try to keep pushing forward. One day my prayers will be heard and answered.

I came across this video at the correct time. I was feeling like not getting anywhere fast enough and seeing people on social media having fun ,doing work and achieving success made me second guess my working routine. after watching your video, I think they are just better at hiding their bad seasons. I also related with the mismamaged care. I always used to ask why did my past self felt anxious for almost everything in my life. turns out I deeply cared about all the things and needed to select the things I was going to focus majorly on. Thank you for sharing your valuable experiences. I always learn so much from you. I hope you get everything you wish for and more.

Thank you for being so honest about this topic. It's not emphasized enough that running a business is HARD and running a successful one is HARDER. Your content is something I consume on a daily basis because it's the only thing I can truly resonate with! It's not all about the fancy cars and penthouses-it's the value you provide and the evidence that you are who you say you are, and do what you say you can do. Needed this.

Its such a relief to have someone be SO HONEST about how HARD and AWFUL it can be to be a leader & business owner. I feel so alone sometimes and this is comforting to know that none of us are immune to the emotional struggles of the immense weight it is to wear all the hats and take the biggest risks- not only financially but with our hearts for putting our love and effort into the people we hire who don’t always reciprocate that love and effort. Thank you.

I've "known" and deeply respected and thought really highly of Alex for a while. This is the first video that I watched of Leila's and six minutes into it just clicked for me the reason these two are such a great team. You are really remarkable Leila, in a way you are very similar to Alex and acknowledge the same concepts but you add to it an emotional side that is just yours and makes your delivery really effective.

All good advice can be taken with a grain of salt. I have found that the best way is to combine opposing perspectives to find balance. For example, I agree with her except that sometimes we cannot tell people what we need from them because if they are narcissists they will purposely deprive us and, all around, they take any information we give them and use it against us. Also, It is actually healthy to share emotional empathy, to a healthy extent and when and where appropriate, with people who are going thru extenuating circumstances. This is not enabling. It is human. I totally get her point. It's good to find a balance and different people have different approaches that are all good in their own way, and so it's good to have diverse friends.

Great Value!! Our company is over a decade old, without a team and zero marketing. My partner does not want ot hire anyone, but I see us scaling with only with the right people in place and good marketing. We are on the verge of launching 7 new biometric safety models, I'm in a panic, because I have to spread myself even thinner. How does one hire for a moving train without a budget for expansion? I'm thinking of an Internship to hire a model. Need a mentor and psychiatrist some times:-) GREAT, AMAZING VALUE. I needed it so much. Thank you, Leila!

This came just at the right time. After making BIG changes to bet on yourself, to keep on going after what you truly want, it just feels so scary. Hearing someone who has been through it is so incredibly soothing. It's okay. It feels hard, but it's just a part of the road. You can do this. The feeling will pass. Trust yourself. Trust your path. You're only feeling this way because you've made the brave choice to go after it. If you had stayed comfortable, you probably wouldn't have to go through all that hard stuff.

Leila thank you thank you thank you. Thank you. I’m starting a business. Approx 4-5 months in. Lots of personal shit going on. I’m doing this almost completely alone with no one really to guide me. I don’t come from money or a family of entrepreneurs or business people but decided to do this for my future. So I’m completely out of my comfort zone. I’ve wanted to quit so many times but I really want this. I’d continue on without your channel but god almighty I’m SO grateful you created your channel. It’s like I have a mentor and friend. You get it and hit on every insecurity I have. I’ll keep going past the shame, fear, embarrassment, rejection.

WOW fabulous naming, and THANK YOU for sharing this, because I'm seeing this is where I have been (@6:57 and my paraphrasing): people who are more willing to be with the uncomfortable feelings that come up when we want to do something but haven't (and then helps us to procrastinate, learn more, get more info, etc) are the ones that 'succeed' - doing what they want to do - even tho it's more than likely SUPER uncomfortable at first! Knowing it's something SO many people go through during these personal life 'growth spurts' makes it so helpful to lift at least half of that uncomfortable feeling ('cuz I haven't done it yet') right off the bat. And like you say, it totally makes sense, considering we haven't done it before. Edit: So many other things you shared - fabulous, esp related to the language we use!
