Thank you for posting Losing a pet is many times harder than losing a loved on or in my case the same level of sorrow. Remember always you gave your best to help them in life and be there for them in death, stay with them to the end... Only 1 time did a vet tell me to leave the room so he could put my old gal Louise to sleep as she had a stroke. Never ever again will I permit that. I hold my dogs and look them in the eyes as the doctor gives them the 1st injection to sedate them talking to them, asking their forgiveness for any harm or slight I have done and telling them how good they always were and were indeed my best friends. Now since my Albert has passed on 9 17 16 he is with all of our dogs, cats and other critters at the Bridge so it is still hard but a bit easier knowing he is with them. I am down to my last 11 dogs, 3 just turned 20 in June, sadly 6 have heart issues, 3 with cancer and the end for any of them is only a heartbeat away. Yes I cry and miss them all but I just pray to HIM that I can outlast them all and then call me home but I would rather go to the Bridge to be reunited with all 300 of our pets (hey that is over 60 yrs), and be reunited with Al and together help the other animals coming up, the homeless, abused, never loved, poached animals and all. Maybe I sound like a fool but so be it, Animals of all kinds from the earth, seas, air, enhance life. Pax+

About a month ago, my guinea pig died. He was blonde and white, and his name was Alexander. I got him on my 7th Birthday, and now I'll be turning 12 in a few months. He died from kidney failure, a tumor, and weakness at 5 and a half years old. He died in my arms, he had muscle spasms, and was also delerious. We buried him in our front yard and engraved a homemade cross with his name on it. I miss him so much, and will never forget him. It TERRIFIES me to no end, knowing I'll have to say good bye to my best friend someday. Until then, I will make sure she knows how much she means to me, EVERY DAY. I'm truly blessed to have my fur daughter, Punchy. She amazes me everyday. It was meant to be. I hope the Grim Reaper understands when I try to fight him for her!

My cat, Tori, was so looking forward to celebrating Christmas, knowing Santa would leave her a bunch of toys for her in the morning, under the tree that she's been monitoring for 4 days n nights. The sad part is she woke up sad, 'cause she knew her brother (by adoption) would not be there with her to share the holidays. Aug 30 2017, some wild animal (we're guessing a mountain lion) got Raja and killed him. Poor Tori. I don't know if she understands what happened to him. She still goes to the back door, looking for him. She'll lie near his "grave," where one of my brothers had buried (what was left of) Raja. How do you explain to a cat someone loves unconditionally has passed on? I still mourn the loss, for Raja, for Tori.

Same here. I had a cat named tuxi short for tuxedo. I was coming home from work and found him in the middle of the road. His eyes were glued shut and his mother probably abounded him or forgot him. I picked him up and put him in my car. That very next day I got medicine for his eyes and they cleared up. 4 years of friendship building went great. I loved my cat but he was a outside cat. So I let him out whenever he meows at the door go potty or whatever. Every night I call him and he comes out.. but this one time he didn’t come back.. so I’m like he’s probably hunting or something. So I put some food outside on my patio. The next day he didn’t even show up.. so I called him again. Doesn’t show up.. well.. at this point I hopped in my car and drove around calling him.. I found my tuxi... he got ran over Infront of the house.. I saw the blood coming from him road to the bushes... ☹️ he was trying to go home.. I cried I cried and cried... I couldn’t believe that this would even happen. It felt like a nightmare. Like I couldn’t wake up from it... but it’s real. He’s gone. And he suffered.. I burned his body along with his favorite shoe string he loves playing. Ill see you up there tuxi.. not today. But when my time comes. Ur the first I’m gonna go see 😢 I love tuxi.

So touching, Brendan. I'm in tears from reading about your Tuxi. I had a tuxedo, who my brother named Figaro. I don't know what happened to him. It could be anywhere from a fight with another animal or he moved into his sisters' house, then they moved. If that's the case, how come the owners of the home never bothered to call us and let us know? If he'd rather be with his sisters, I have no problem with (I'd still miss him). But it's the not-knowing that hurts. That was almost 9 years ago. I will be so happy when I get to see my kids again. It will be a true blessing.

My mom’s dog never recovered after mom passed on. She slept outside her bedroom window and wouldn’t eat or drink. A month later she also died. I’m not an animal person but I respect the love and bonds between animals and humans. Condolences to all.

I cried from the start & end of this video...😰 I lost my beautiful cat named Meesh-Meesh last November to cancer. Here is it April 2019, I am still grieving. It breaks my heart.
