This tea loving son of a bitch is all you need to make a rupture team good. You don't even need Uptie 4 on him. He's a 2 star ID.
Didn't use 7 faust cause I don't have the thread to get her to uptie 3.

Considering all available Identities and E.G.O., this is how an ideal rupture team would work: -7 Yi Sang, Heathcliff, Faust, Outis, G corp Greg, Talisman Sinclair and K corp Hong Lu for the sinners to use. If 5 is the limit, depending on how you want to play, you can switch Hong Lu with Faust (Sinclair and Greg must be on the team) and take Yi Sang off the team. Ideally all of them are Uptied to 4, but only Yi Sang and Greg are necessary (Yi Sang gets rupture on his skill 3 and inflicts +1 rupture count on clash win with skill 2, Greg gets massive buffs for rupture). -The only mandatory E.G.O. is Dimension shredder Yi Sang and Ebony Stem for Outis. Both must be at least threadspun to 2 to unlock the passive, since it makes Yi Sang's skills not decrease rupture count if the enemy is at 2 or more (up to a max of 3 or 4 I believe) and Outis will inflict rupture count next turn, maintaining the potency and count and saving you if you accidentally get the count to 1. -Yi Sang, Cliff and Hong Lu's main purpose is to increase rupture count either through E.G.O. use or skills. Be mindful however, as Yi Sang's Dimension Shredder will nuke 5 rupture count, so use his dimension shredder sparingly. If Cliff doesn't roll his skill 2, it's fine, he inflicts a lot of potency if he hits a weakness with his other skills. Hong Lu can only increase count if he blocks 3 times or dies 3 times or through E.G.O. -Sinclair is there for the talisman infliction. Inflicting 5 rupture potency every hit is humongous. But at some point he's there just to take self damage lol -Faust and Greg will be your DPS. Faust only has multi-coin skills and her damage output increases the more potency is on the enemy while being net neutral on rupture count infliction so long she wins a clash with skill 2 (on skill 3 it's a net loss of 1 count). Greg will only do meaningful count decrease on his skill 3, but it's really worth it. So long the enemy has 5+ potency, his clash power becomes 12, 16 and 16 and greatly increases his overall damage output, especially on skill 3. He can also work as a faux-tank. -Outis Doesn't necessarily help the team too much other than being a clash tank. If she's at U4, her skill 3 becomes monstrous and she gains a net gain of 1 count on skill 2. Otherwise, she's mostly there to make sure you can win a clash that you can't win with someone else because they only have skill 1s on the board. Only problem with the team would be Yi Sang and Sinclair's clashing power. Yi sang makes up for it with his combat passive, but sinclair is just screwed since his only high rolling skill is his 3rd. Getting a long Resonance chain will definitely help them, though (remember: every 3 points of difference is +1 clash power)

Wouldn't Rosespanner Gregor be better for count? You'd be losing some clash power and damage but stacking tons of Rupture would be way more comfortable

Yeah, there is some merit to bringing rosespanner greg, but his rupture count infliction is... meh at best. Unless at U4, his skill 2 is net neutral on count gain and his skill 3 needs the enemy to have some tremor and him to have 4 charge for a net gain... of 1 count. Uptie 4 just makes his skill 2 give 1 count net gain which is just not worth the resource dump imo. G Greg justs gets so many strong buffs on rupture teams@@malleuslimbus

i just started playing this without any history with the franchise save for lore and one would think that all these crazy ass mechanics would make me not want to play the game but i like gambling (especially gambling that i can do for free) and weird buildcrafty stuff so imma save this video for later since i got 7 heathcliff recently i think

Man, I'd like to play a rupture team, but like any PM fan I have a weakness - reading. I ain't ready to read into Talisman Sinclair mechanics.

All you need to know: -get 5 talisman -use skill 3 -never use skill 3 if you have precisely 5 talismans after that -profit

Do you have an alternative to recommend to Sinclair for human fights? It's incredibly not worth the effort to try and get talisman going in multi target fights in my opinon. I feel like 7Faust is definitively a good option but i'd like your input on this

7 Faust or 7 Yi Sang if he's uptied to 4 and has dimension shredder. Though faust will definitely be the better option since human fights are meant to be super fast, so trying to get a good amount of rupture on people isn't worth it since they'll die next turn most likely.
