7-Horse Jump-Off for $1,340,000 Championship at Thermal Horse Show

Watch some of the world's top equine jumping horses at this Major League Showjumping event in December, 2023. This was the big Saturday night finale for this hunter-jumper horse show at Desert International Horse Park in Thermal, California. This horse park is huge and absolutely stunning!
This jump-off is for the Coachella Cup Grand Prix with jumps at 1.60 meters (about 5' 3"). You can tell how big of a show jumping event this is by the purse money of $1,340,000 that goes to the top finishers!
Watch as these horses and riders sail over these huge jumps that seem impossible to clear! Some of the jumps are shown in slow motion and some at regular speed to give you two perspectives for watching these show jumpers at this amazing hunter-jumper horse show.

Cu toate aceste refuzuril și greșeli. SPLENDOARE în. "NISIP". Urmăresc cu plăcere orice prind pe tv. ! !

Mulțumiri. A existat un singur refuz și o singură șină în jos pentru cei mai mulți dintre călăreții care nu au avut o rundă liberă. Aceste sărituri sunt la cel mai înalt nivel existent. Plus că cursul este foarte dificil. Dacă toată lumea ar avea o rundă clară de fiecare dată, nu ar fi la fel de distractiv de urmărit, nu-i așa?

I, too, love the slow motion, but I think I prefer it as mixed in with real time. Seeing the speed in a jumpoff is the most impressive part.

@@MagnificentHorsesI believe she meant mixing slow motion and normal speed over the jumps is good. I agree. I like both slow motion and normal. Subbed and liked. Your videos are so well done. Since I can't get to those shows this is great! 👏

WHEW 🤩 so exciting to watch! These horses and riders are amazing 🏇 I rode a pre-Grand Prix jumper for years. She was a dark bay Thoroughbred and surprisingly small at 15.3. Size didn't matter for her - she was built like an American football star 😍

Glad you liked it and that's really cool that you rode pre-Grand Prix jumpers. I didn't know that about you! The horse I used to ride, which is the one in my trailer video for new viewers, was even smaller than your thoroughbred. I didn't jump as high as you would have, but Ruby was like your thoroughbred in that she jumped really hard. I really miss her! She is still alive but had issues in her joints to where she could not continue to jump with an adult and is now at a different barn.

@@MagnificentHorses I'm happy that you and your Ruby ❣ had many wonderful years together 🏇 I jumped at Level 1 😁 and never jumped at pre-Grand Prix levels. That beautiful Thoroughbred mare 🐴was a retired show jumper and also a retired high dressage performer. My teacher adopted her after she retired 🥰
