Also if you want to dig deeper into it, Jorge explains a lot of the motifs he uses and why he picked certain instruments to represent different characters. The clock in THATI symbolising Athena's attention, the fact that the music becomes more electronic the more pronounced a god's presence becomes, the different kinds of guitar used for Odysseus to portray his moods and decisions etc

Athena is the goddess of wisdom and strategic warfare. Odysseus was a favorite of hers in the original epic because he favored strategy. The Trojan horse gambit was his idea, for one. She was his patron goddess which makes their split more meaningful.

my own headcanon for why ody has a choir in 'monster' is that it's the first time he becomes 'amonster'. like scylla's a monster who can have her own choir, i like to think ody is now a 'monster' and thus the choir is there to symbolize that he is now more than mere human. not god, but more than human. (this headcanon gets strengthened in the vengence saga for me) BUT AS SAID this is just a hc, not canon. just smth i thought was cool.

44:57 I think the "Full Speed Ahead" being softer part and when he's talking about Penelope and his home being the more forward, prominent part sets up Ody's motivations well. He's not a greek hero that went out trying to hunt monsters; he was a husband and father pulled from his family to participate in this war. He just wants to get home, the journey is a consequence not the driving force like some heroes. Then the next verse when he's talking to Eurolychus his immediate focus is now feeding his crew, so Full Speed Ahead is the main focus.

I adore your content but i dont enjoy the way you space things, it leads to frustration rather than intrige especially if you're paying 10$ for in-advance videos but still having to wait a week for the upload . I havent seen another reactor spacing things out like this. It doesn't affect my thoguhts on your criticism you are my favorite reactor but the release dates are frustrating
