I’ve been able to print out a lot of Deathmarks. Simply mirroring parts gives you more customization options.

they look good?

Lol my printed ones? no, but thats more to do with me being bad with an airbrush than printing

I re-arranged my list to take them out and now I just run double Hexmarks. If I was able to take out a few words and make the Deathmarks ability good, I'd remove the line "of your opponents"... if they could do some shots on a rapid ingress unit, they'd be an actual deterrent. They might be a back to mid field unit then, looking to cover other units. But alas.

Just learnt you do fixed to! I play daemons and go for BEL and locus works well with 3” deepstike! Love it 💪🏼

Once you go fixed, you don’t go back 😅

I find the threat of sniping a useful strategy. i find opponents will not move key units into the mid board with these guys in play

I just play casually with some friends and usually just run the 5 squad for scoring as well. I’ve been curious to experiment with a 10 man unit however, specifically to precision any leading characters as possible

Love the sculpt and idea of snipers, but if I have the points I take a Hexmark every time.

Question: If the opponent has a character attached to a bodyguard unit, wounds would normaly go off of the bodyguards first and following wounds would hit already damaged models first. But what if Deathmarks hit the character modell with precision, even if it is just 1 wound out of 10 or what ever, that character model would be the damaged one in the unit. Would follow up attacks from other units without precision keep damaging the character becaus of the rule, that wounds will be substracted first from already damaged units or would that be ignored and the bodyguards are again first in line? If this works, it would be nice to use the Deathmarks as a kind of "primer" to mark the character with a minimum of 1 wound and then your army could could finish him off.

No. They don’t continue on the character If you look in core rules under “leader” 3rd paragraph

I run both the deathmarks and the hexmark and the snipers beat the character in usefulness every time

I hope people don’t think my comment means I hate ophydians. I really do love them and run them a lot, but they really only have their manoeuvrability going for them.

They are a lot cheaper and hit harder than immortals, not even taking into account deep strike.
@direraven6277Ай бұрын
No way. A squad of tesla immortals with a plasmancer. Ive ended up with more hits than shots.
@direraven6277Ай бұрын
Every 5 or 6 you roll you get an additional 2 shots. A 10 man unit has wiped space marine squads, as well as 20 group of nids.
@femboy_rush7872Ай бұрын
Just comparing the two different units by data sheet, yeah Deathmarks hit harder, but they can’t benefit from character buffs
@A-McDraeАй бұрын
@@direraven6277 true, but you can get a whole other squad of deathmarks for the cost of a single plasmacer. That's guaranteed extra shots. I'm not sure which is actually better, but it is certainly close.
