put them in today, they are loose , had to put some sticky back foam between the bulb and bucket, aim them and still got flashed, droped them down a little , well see if I still get flashed next time I drive at night the Halo's are super bright

Yeah if I recall I had to use foam or rubber gasket to get them fitted.

Well damn I went to eBay to look at them and didn’t click your link. My 8pc came in but I didn’t have adaptors for signal and DRL I got to wire with a clamp on the end. I don’t know what wire from the single to split to them. Awesome video though

Do you think it would be possible to skip the wiring of the existing turn signal so I could use that slot/opening in the grill for some aux lights wired separately to a switch.

Your headlights should have came with the Y adapter. I’m unsure where or if you can buy it separately. Contact your headlight mfg.

I installed these, but when I have my lights on auto the high beam comes on. If I turn them on myself the high beam is not on. I followed the instructions plus watched your video. I did everything right. Do you have any idea what could be the problem?

That’s really odd, sorry I don’t run my headlights on auto or I’m not sure I have auto feature. Hey email the vendor they seem to have good tech help.

@@cassidysepicadventures I had to purchase this device then the app also. But it did the trick. You can also change other settings on your Jeep with it. It is ECRI Calibration Module - Fits 2007-17 Jeep Wrangler I found it on Amazon.

No, DRL comes on with parking lights.

@@michaelrausch6950 if you want the DRL to work when starting you will need to find an key on ignition 12v lead. Using the supplied harness they will only work with parkinglights.

@@Georgia4Low Yeah, I agree with you...did they lights you bought show the amp draw for DRL (or overall)? I believe factory (halogen) headlights are fused at like 20 amps which is probably overkill for LED...Thanks again for getting this info out there.

wired the first one in and the halo did not work. Caused my blinker to blink fast and no halo or regular light. Sent them back. Did not try the other one. Dissapointed.

This is a long shot - but I have a 2020 Sport and installed these headlights today. Does anyone know how to hook up the amber halo turn signals with the following set up: One dual filament bulb that handles Parking and DRL, and one single filament bulb for turn? My Gladiator does not have the switchback DRL/blinker. We are stumped but see others on Extreme Terrain have done it!

Are you tying to have the amber halo flash with the blinker signal?

To do that the headlights would have needed to came with a Y connector that connected the headlights and OEM blinkers together. I believe I show that in the video.

I followed all these steps but my lower amber colored turn signal doesn’t work with the turn signal in the headlight??

Plug the turn signal back into the factory harness, both turn signals and test to make sure they work on their own. Check the harness that came with the headlights to make sure all the terminals are pushed and locked into the connectors.

I just installed these on my 2015 wrangler. I am having an issue though. When the lights are set to off, they are off but as soon as it is in drive, the highbeams turn on. same with the daytime light settings. Also the Auto function turns swaps between high beam and low beam. Wtf did I do?

Very odd, confirm wiring with the wire diagram that comes with the lights. After that I would request a new set of lights.

There is no wire needed to be found. These headlights come with a plug in play Y harness that plugs into the headlights and turn signal.

I ordered the same lights off of Amazon and it didn’t come with one. It only came with one adapter for the headlights and two wires hanging off of the adapter I have no clue what to do with 😩 i have no idea what the terminology is for any of this. I managed to get the headlights to work but I really wanted the amber signal light to work also. I thought maybe I could order an adapter but didn’t know what it was called to order it 😢 but I managed to get my headlights on 😅 (first timer here obviously lol)

Same Jeep yes, reason I replaced those in the video was lacking performance. These headlights are working perfectly today. Zero issues, zero yellowing but the Jeep stays colored mostly
