Roland it’s delicious. For s change as I usually cook Kam Heong Style. So today I decided to do this recipe. Indeed easy peasy. I used the water from the frozen boiled clams though. Thanks again.

In Portugal we have very similar variation, olive oil and lots of garlic, add clams and salt, wait for a couple of minutes, add a splash of white wine, the chopped stems of coriander, and two minutes later, turn off the heat, add a drizzle of lemon juice and the leaves of the coriander (chopped). You can mix a but if chopped chilli with the garlic. Love your channel!

Is that called Aglo Olio, something like that??
@josefreitas7532 жыл бұрын
@@skittytan8814 no Aglio i olio (garlic and olive oil) is a spaghetti sauce, super simple, just grated garlic quickly cooked in hot olive oil, and poured over the spaghetti, some people add grated lemon zest. Super delicious too!

Which clam be the best?
@hieuluu22 жыл бұрын
You can also used razor clams, instead of water, olive oil on lieu of water, the juice from the clams will come out in substitute of the water, at the end, add some chopped green scallions, stir, and enjoy.

Wonder if you could do this in an air fryer? I remember my mom's friends using cornmeal to get rid of the salt. The clams eat the cornmeal and spit out the salt
@spicenpans2 жыл бұрын
Hi Heathen, we've never tried cooking them in an airfryer but I can imagine how to go about doing it. You can wrap all the ingredients up in a aluminium foil then airfry them. I'm not so sure about the temperature but i think 4 - 5 mins may be okay. Try it and share your experience with us. We've never tried the cornmeal method but that sounds really interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Hi do you know which online supplier is reliable to order fresh clams ? Please do advise me !
@spicenpans2 жыл бұрын
Hi Yulianny, we don't really know. We get fresh ones from a shop in our neighbourhood. Sometimes we get frozen cooked ones from supermarkets like Shengsiong or NTUC.

I would like to split into 4 portions and freeze them for my meal prep. And will eat them over the week with spaghetti. Is this possible?
@spicenpans2 жыл бұрын
Hi Andrew, yes no problem but since it takes so fast to cook, i would recommend you to cook them fresh. you can even use one pot to cook everything including the spaghetti. need to change the sequence a little.

@spicenpans2 жыл бұрын
oh we love curry chicken noodles. You can use this recipe kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6OrfHSYZ9ekeqc and then add cooked yellow noodles to it. If you're cooking the noodles directly in the curry, the noodles will make the curry saltier so you might wanna reduce the salt used in our recipe. Happy cooking!
