I think getting a client is the easiest thing but keeping him/her loyal to your brand is difficult here. You should be interested in everything new and trying to use it. Quizzes and giveaways are so important. They are fun and entertaining and help you to gain more followers and keep your old ones appreciated. I will recommend using the Yellow Duck. tv for your contests. This is a tool that helps you to go live on Instagram form your PC.

I recommend Instagram as your main social platform. And if you have the bandwidth, I also recommend dabbling into tiktok. BUT do see what social channels your customer demographic hangs out on and how they find new food places.

Great question Bernice! I tend to treat most comments as if it were a yelp review. If the comment was warranted (ie. mistake on your part), then I would apologize and take ownership. If it is a troll or a comment that is outlandish - I would bite back at them or just delete it. Sometimes it is best to show your character that you aren't to be pushed around. With all this said...you do need to consider your brand image in what is the best way of interacting with such comments.

Great video, however, the title is misleading,. I assumed this video was about tools on Instagram itself, but rather these are external tools to help your Instagram workflow, not really help you "grow" your Instagram.

I disagree...You'd be surprised how levelling up these workflows will help a beginner grow their instagram. Whether that be actually starting to schedule posts; creating prettier graphics; more engagement from better caption formatting; etc. etc. If a beginner doesn't know about these tools, it could seriously help them save 10+ hours each month, post more frequently, analyze analytics to see what works and double down on that, and create better content that will grow their accounts. Whether they are internal or external doesn't really make a difference imo. Especially when all of them are technically free to use in some manner.

​@@WilsonKLee I do feel that understanding the why's of Instagram is far more beneficial to a newbie than fancy tools with no context. What I mean is, what's the point of an amazing image/post that looks good in your feed if no one is going to see it? These tools don't actually help you attract more people to your social media page, it just makes it look pretty in the hopes that someone stumbles across it. Maybe a good video you could do would be, Hashtag strategy, writing engaging captions, posting at the right time for your audience, on-brand imagery, engaging with your followers, understanding analytics etc, all of which are "Instagram" Tools. Thoughts?
