I have Netflix in the US. Netflix has none of those movies at this time, at least not here in the US.

Deep water horizon doesn’t accurately depict what was happening. They blamed the oil rig disaster on one employee who was dead and could not defend himself. The oil company cut corners in safety because the underwater rock they needed to mine through was too dense, but they needed to get the well in by a certain time to not miss their earnings expectations boost. The safety people essentially let them do this because ties to business were too strong. So BP broke through and then couldn’t stop the blow out which started a fire, which not only destroyed the oil rig but killed 11 workers. Then it turned out they had no way to stop the oil as the back up to their backup was not sufficient and it took months to build a bigger submersible craft. The oil destroyed the crab, shellfish, crawfish, tourism, beaches, fishing etc in the whole gulf.

I'd like to add that some of us don't watch these kind of movies because they are ''disaster flicks'' but because we hope to find out what happened to cause such a tragedy. I found Deepwater Horizon both informative and intensely moving.

They did show the ignorance of safety for profit in the film.
