We have a border-aussie, and he is one loving dog! I take him on 5 - 10 walks a day. He's a sociable dog but can spot an aggressive dog right away. He's definitely a ball of fun!

I also have a border aussie. My second. At 13 weeks this dog is so smart. I put her leash aside to give her some free time off leash and she went over to where l had put the leash, in a chair ... and picked it up and brought it to me.

I have an Aussie & he is much like the Border Collie. However, there are differences. At about 7 years of age he slowed way down & started showing arthritis pain in his joints. He also rests more & gains weight easier. I had to cut his food so, he can't have dry food free choice anymore. He has good eyesight but has to have his teeth cleaned finally at 11 years old. Otherwise, he is in pretty good health except for arthritis pain in the winter when it's really cold & humid out. He was so active & worked so hard when he was younger. Plus he injured himself a couple of times & those come back to haunt him when it's cold out. I'll finally have to put him on arthritis meds next winter. It'll be time for him to retire soon. He's letting me know he's almost ready for that. I'll miss him with me when I'm working outside all day but he can still ride in the truck where it's warm for most of the day. I don't think he'd be happy yet, if I left him at home. When he isn't waiting at the door I'll know he's okay with staying in out of the snow & cold. He will have earned his rest. I will miss him so much every single minute of every single day. He is & has been such a joy in my life. A constant & best friend.

My dad has one who is the light of his life. We have family who breed and raise border collie/Australian Sheppards. He told Tyler that he wanted to buy a puppy from him, and Tyler said no, and gave my dad the pick of the next litter. Dolly and dad are always together.

@8:47 - The narrator and the captions say "progressive renal atrophy" instead of the correct term "progressive retinal atrophy." The first term (the one named in the video) does not exist, and also refers to the kidney ("renal") instead of the correct term which is part of the eye ("retina"). Was this video narrated by AI by chance?

That's an interesting idea! EV-only roads and more trails could definitely create a more sustainable and enjoyable environment for everyone. Plus, who doesn’t love a good dog park?
