Thank you so much. New to Scal and trying to build my small business. This video helped me understand so much. I never used 4 but even with that I still learned a ton.

Thanks for this video! I'd watched the video in question and it left me with a lot more questions than it answered, now I understand why I was frustrated.

@@emilyfreas5768 I get that issue corrected and then it shows up again! It's very frustrating! But I'll address it again after the Thanksgiving weekend.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, I'm trying to learn SCAL pro 5 after only using SCAL2 many many years ago. I was overwhelmed and confused by the other tracing video. And information on this feature for new learners of SCAL 5 is limited.. Thank you for the manual and the class suggestion

Sandy sorry to have need to ask this question about Scal5 I recall issue with part of a design going into the top left corner Very Tiny. I was creating a shadow layer a couple weeks ago and it went into the top left corner how do I stop that and keep the shadow layer behind the original design? I've looked around on MTC and a few other places and could not find the answer for this. Thanks for your input.

That happens in all versions of SCAL. If you still have, for example, the rectangle shape selected on the left tool bar and then you, for example, start to move a shape that's already on the screen or even select it, a tiny tiny tiny new rectangle will be created up in the upper left corner. Thus, it comes from having the wrong tool selected when you get ready to do something. So, before cutting, always do a Ctrl+A to select everything in your project and then check to see if that upper left corner is alway inside the bounding box of your entire project. That will tell you that one of those little shapes is up there. Or you can also check your Layers Panel to see if there appears to be more shapes that what you think should be in your project.
