Could you please also do what a Secure looks like when they are interested. It's important for us to see the secure aspect of the things we are learning as a lot of us are becoming secure and we need to know when we meet other secures.

Just made the attachment style test again and was so happy seeing that I’m currently 41% secure and only 24% FA anymore. I used to be 100% FA leaning AP and thanks to you & the PDS, over the years of following you and doing the work, I now have healed so much! I feel like a completely different person. Thank you so much, I couldn’t have done it without you ❤️

Ya know, I rate as an FA leaning DA. Last year I got a dog and my severe leg cramps disappeared. Looking back, I wasn’t hugging anyone and they started after my relationship fell apart (among a whole slew of other things that landed me gravely ill). I can confirm I do absolutely have a need for touch but I historically have a terror of people lol. So pets it is! Since joining PDS I am asking for hugs from my family again, which helps, but thank God for my dog! Thank you for this video. I didn’t realize how badly I needed touch in my life until now, even tho I have been adding it to my life. 😂

The funny fact is that someday the Anxious ones will get over their wounds and will be secure and the DA or FA ones are the lonely ones cause they are often not willing to work on themselves. Like Cher sings: Youre gonna be the lonely one oooohh. Do you belieeeeeeeeve in life after love? 😂😂😂

My FA ex is in communication with me, we’ve had 2 sleep overs since he deactivated, one at my place out of the blue, and one last week at his place. He opened up and spoke to me for an hour or so about how people he considered friends don’t show up for him. He seems to have abandonment wounds, same as me but his strategy for coping is to distance himself from people, mine is to talk about it and engage.. but if that leads nowhere I also disengage. How can I keep the momentum with him while he’s still in this slight deactivated state without overwhelming him? I’d like to have more regular communication and get out of this gray area. I mean he made me dinner! He even recently got a new bed frame that looks similar to mine and end tables, and a new sofa (both of which I also upgraded at my home this year) he’s adultified his apartment. When he ended things he said I deserve better out of nowhere and disappeared for 2 weeks. I got a new bed frame to keep busy and not think of him..wonder if he also did that?

Ugh FA's can really mess with your head. I'm a DA but I work really harrd on it and I'm actually a bit too self aware. I was with an FA on and off, I say she was my girlfriend but it was more of a situationship...whenever she got close like emotionally she would push me away and disapear for days and then come back super friendly and excited to see me. Whenever I tried to talk committment she'd freak but then she'd promise me a nice trip that may or may not actually happen. I ended up blocking her for my own sanity, haven't talked with her in ages. What sucks is we actually understood eachother, I thought it was just intense sexual chemistry but it was more than that....when I'd really push her to open up or be vulnerable she'd get angry with me. She's very much a free spirit....really hope she's found happiness not that she was miserable she just always looked confused.

Im an fa and as the video here says as well we are straight forward for if he hasn't clearly told you he wants to get back with you thats not a good sign, fas like da we need A LOT of space, we avoidants fall in love with the absence of a person, when we have constant access to you its overwhelming and too clingy so we further ourselves away. We want a partner who shows they can be independent emotionally from us to feel safe around this partner.

@@Twighlight333 I ended things with an FA- he wanted to see other people just as I felt we were really starting to connect (he prioritized me on weekends, texting daily..) and I broke no contact after a week but now back on no contact- 1 week. He’s already seeing that new person. It also hurts to see him move on. This whole experience has been weird because he was so into me and didn’t want to end things, just kept saying he wanted to see others. I can’t do that. He no longer messages me but I told him I couldn’t talk to him while he’s actively pursuing someone else. Why did he seemingly lead me on? Any insight as to if it’s completely over then? He really seemed to be into me and opened up to me like he hasn’t around others (his words)

FA's want to see things growing and building...until they get to point where they can't handle it. It's kind of a miserable way to deal with people when you look at it objectively.

Im a FA and i advise you not to mention anything about moving in, if he is backing off just with daily connection he will distance himself even more if you bring up moving in, daily connecting is quite exhausting for us FAs its overwhelming so you mentioning that now you want to share the same space might not go any good, best thing to do is to back off a little bit give him some space in between

What do you do when a FA has all 7 signs but she keeps telling your just a friend but wants to text and see as much as possible
@user-js4mt1nr2y
@user-js4mt1nr2y 7 ай бұрын
Take her word for it and figuere out your boundries to what extent does it feel like friendship and what is more romantic. I've had a crazy heardace because this friend of my was full on flirting and stuff up to the point I fell in love and he just said he wasn't ready and not looking for a relationship. Now we are friends again and I see him moving testing these boundries and showing up like the video and I now just categorised it as how he behaves as an close friend, someone who fullfills a lot of emotional intamicy needs. And one of my ways of showing boundries is I tell him he is asking for boyfriend privaliges 😅. Btw if you are interested then I would be upfront with it as early on to avoid the rollercoaster.

@@user-js4mt1nr2y thanks for the reply good timing she just reached out after like 5 weeks no contact. And it's just the same. Says I'm just her Best friend but wants me to do boyfriend privileges. Would send spicy pictures says she loves me. Beg me not to leave her and I can't go. Have me give her massages tell me I'm the best at. Go around and act like me saying she wants to gets gains (I'm a gym rat) ask if my mom and sister know about her. Says she trusts no one but me. Can poop and pee with door opens up about her whole life story. Her kids love me. Once told me we needed a break cause we were to emotionally connected and acted like a couple. This stuff went on for like 5 months but had like 2-3 people she Hooked up and (one was an ex) would upset me but always say I had nothing to worry about they mean nothing. Every time I would try to make a move or ask to go be boyfriend and girlfriend say I'm to special to lose if we hooked up she might lose me for ever and can't. So Im now 2 weeks into talking and seeing her after 5 weeks no contact which she broke. History is already the same so far. She has me pick up food for her and the kids she orders it than has me help pick up groceries with her had me massage her hang out with her and the kids. But telling me I'm her best friend when first week said she just wants to find a nice guy and take it slow and wants to be in love with her Best friend. So is that me lol? I made a joke last weekend about my hair getting thinner than we hung out with couple of her friends she said she would never date a bald guy than looked at me and said don't worry your not bald. I'm already stressed out she knows how I feel I'm not meant to be friends with a girl I want to date I'm a straight guy. So I'm just taking this slow and seeing what happens. Most people think she is a narcissist but has all the signs of a fearful and dismissive avoidant. Most importantly Saying she has abandonment issues i truly believe she is a FA and DA leaning narcissistic that wants to be with me but feels like feels like all relationships end badly so why take a chance so wish me luck this time
