Thank you for your help better help what I'm wondering is if you're in a therapist what can you do for your clients when your perpetrators are using them to extort you? What do you do when the perpetrators are using you to do the stonewalling the gas lighting and the narcissistic abuse so they can run off raping me and my kids while stealing my money and demanding my brother as a war hostage?

Patrick really nailed the importance of a solid hiring process. A key tactic often overlooked is implementing 'role-specific projects' during the interview to gauge real-world skills and problem-solving abilities. It's a game-changer for ensuring a candidate's fit beyond what's on their resume.

There are some people out there who they just wanna work hard in a project they like, and have no ego or big aspirations/no interest in leading teams etc...Big people don't make the Big bucks because they work hard, big people make big the big bucks becuase other people work hard for them.

PBD please! Do not advertise for better help. I am a therapist myself, and they are terrible for the industry. Not because they’re competition, but because they’re the fast food version of Therapy in the industry. It’s poor quality packaged with convenience.
@ThatCasualZach

Sounds like you should pivot rather than complain. You think fast food is going away? No it's not. I think you're looking at it the wrong way. Remember the Future is Bright.
@JC-ok4yx
@JC-ok4yx 5 ай бұрын
@@ThatCasualZach It's not a complaint about the method of delivery. I have a master's in counseling, but I didn't go get my license to be a therapist. The problem with places like "Better Help" or poor quality therapists is many of these people wouldn't be able to compete in the market as a therapist but they're terrible at their jobs. One of the big "problems" with therapy is that it can actually cause a lot of harm than good if it's not done correctly. Imagine if you went to a doctor, and you have diabetes, but the doctor said there's no hope you have the disease, you can't make any choices or decisions to be healthy, and you just need to embrace it. That's how some of these "therapists" treat anxiety or depression. Instead of giving clients hope and direction, they pathologize them and tell them there is no hope. They give them referrals for medication instead of actually helping the client, then they charge their insurance for hundreds of dollars. It's a fact that if you teach a person to focus on their anxiety, the anxiety disorder will get worse. A therapist is supposed to help create corrective emotional experiences so people can get through their trauma, but nowadays they're instead telling everyone to embrace trauma and get medicated. It's a shame.

Ron you are right. They are the quick and dirty. I've tried them on Pat's recommendation. I had issues with them from the beginning. I tried a therapist or two. They both talk about how little they make and how busy they have to be for the company. They are the AAA of the therapy world. Tow truck drivers don't like Triple A since they only get $30 a tow and their time and labor are worth more than that. Very very similar situation. I have plenty of other reasons why I stopped the service. The final reason was the rush schedule. I'd pay for an hour and get 45 mins. This isn't just one therapist or one event. It's constant. Their matching system is terrible. I never ended up with the type of therapist that I was looking for. No joke, the highlighted therapists were LGBT advocate counselors. 🙄😮‍💨

*Character & skill are both a big problem right now But the 1 problem I see that seems to always persist - DESIRE & MOTIVATION. Without DESIRE & MOTIVATION character & Skill won't amount to much.*
@KrunoslavStifter
@KrunoslavStifter 5 ай бұрын
@@thetruthchannel349 Well its hard to imagine how one builds a character if one has no desire and motivation for improving, that is the point. You can train someone skill, but you can't train them into character , only they can. character as in set of habitual characteristics that one has adopted in face of hard moral choices. By definition without desire to persist , you cannot build character.
@thetruthchannel349
@thetruthchannel349 5 ай бұрын
@@KrunoslavStifter *I know a lot of people of good character. They're mediocre producers because they're only motivated to do what they must. Desire to go beyond is a character trait but in most people it lies dormant. I think Jordan Peterson talks about that quite a bit. People are a resource of many different qualities. It takes the right leader to learn how to mine things out of them. How many people have the ability to bring POOR traits out of people? ITs the same thing. Mediocrity is a disease of the mind & will. Sure we all have different gifts but whatever one's gift is if they go just a mile beyond they've accomplished a great thing. Cultivating DESIRE is an Art.*

Sorry buddy… went through that waste of time. First item should be compensation presentation. Don’t waste my time acting as if I already accepted. I denied the last employer who flew me in but failed to present compensation before parading me from department to department. They presented me as if I had accepted. 2 weeks later they called to talk money… I told them I already accepted another job where didnt waste my time showing me the cafeteria. Ridiculous! Want me to move? Show me for what. Im not in the business of collecting bogus titles. These new idiot business school managers really think professionals with 15 years of experience can be had with company tours and coffee. Money talks and the rest is second. This is where employers fail. They keep giving people tickets to the hockey game thinking thats what will retain them…. Good luck!

Depends on the employee's reasons: they might be afraid of failure, want more time for family, might not like managing other people, etc. Employers should recheck the employee's stance every couple of years, if nothing else inflation might serve to motivate them to seek a higher position.
