Here are 7 things I knew in my 20s now that I'm in my my 30s. These are just some life lessons I have learned over the years and felt like sharing with you. There will be days where you may feel lost or behind in your 20s but this is sometimes part of the process. I felt lost in my 20s, but I kept learning new things and challenging myself to be better than I was yesterday. Realize that your friends will change over time and you will grow. The people that you have in your circle are very important. For example, if your friends party and drink all the time, then you will soon become just like your friends. What I learned was changing these negative habits only becomes more difficult the older you get. Don't worry about whether people like you or not. Focus on your goals and remember to help others along the way.

I'm 29 turning 30. I agree with all these points. The hard part is actually having this perspective at 20 vs learning about it. I remember seeing articles about what you should do and not do in your 20s when I was like 23. I knew it was important, but so much happens in your 20s you sort of lose sight of things and get sucked into working and paying bills. I think another good one is to not get caught up in materialistic things. We live in a consumer based society, and it's hard to stop buying things once you've made a habit of it at a young age.
