The isolation tip hit hard. I'm also introverted, at least with people I don't know very well, and I rarely meet people outside the pitch. I'm 17, playing with many mid-20 year olds, and I love being with them, but I am always scared they don't like me. This weekend I went outside my comfort zone and went to a team-party, and even though I don't drink I had such a good time. I felt so liked and more inside the group. Being socially comfortable has such a big effect on my game, and I know this was the best choice I could have made. This is your sign to do things outside your comfort zone.

I honestly agree with every one. They all apply to me as well in some way. An 8th mistake I think you could've added (maybe it didn't apply to you) is play football not only to go pro, but because you have lots fun playing. Never lose the fun of the game by trying to make it the most serious thing in the world. But great video man, never seen something like this on KZbin, your ideas will certainly help me out :)

This touches on managing your time in an efficient way. I’m actually planning on making a video about this soon. What I like to do is take a maximum of three bigger areas of my life where I put my priority and focus and then create a system around those three things that allow me to do them efficiently. Too many areas and you just won’t be able to do them efficiently. As I said will try to make a video about this soon to explain in more detail!

Almost every mistake resonates with me... now being 23 I've felt for a while that my time has already passed, specially the part where u mentioned getting along with your team mates... I've never had that like "naturally" in me, not that I disliked them but, I have always being more of an introvert/shy guy, so that made it harder for me to make any "friends" at my team, anyways, I guess what I've always wanted is just someone to play and have a good time in the moment.

phenomenal video, very informative, but I have one question. I started PLAYING football at the age of 14, I am now 15 and I never felt the feeling that football gave me, is it possible for me to go pro despite my lack play in previous years? I am doing good right now with decent dribbling and technical work. Thank you for your time and I would love to hear an answer from you. Here are some video ideas I think footballer would be interested to hear and know: 1. How to analyse a football game and increase your football IQ 2. How to analyse your own games and how you can improve on them 3. How many hours does a pro baller train (I over train and that is the case for many) and how he manages his time 4. What does a pro baller do off the pitch 5. What to prioritize football wise in every age group (technicality, physicality, game IQ...) 6. How am I able to plan my sessions and goals and how to play under pressure 7. How to increase self-esteem and stress less about the game I looked more into your video and your newer ones are gold. Keep up the good work.

First, don’t limit yourself to your age because then you are already at a disadvantage ❌ I think you should focus on mastering the basics, like first touch & passing along with your vision and awareness. Those things alone can take you really far if you become a master at it! Just look at players like Busquets, who aren’t the most athletic, quick players but still plays at the very top level

@OJFootballX Жыл бұрын
Tjena Edvin!

That is really the best compliment I can get and I'm happy I can be able to help out! ❤️ If you struggle to train regularly, I recommend you start off easier and don't put a extremely high goal at the start (like that you should train every day for example). Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, remember to have fun and don’t set too high expectations. Maybe you can start off by training once a week, and then gradually increase from there. A sidenote though, you will not be motivated for every single session! There are days when I don’t want to train either but then you have to make sure to get yourself there anyway and keep that momentum up

It’s very hard for me as I haven’t seen you play but I’m a firm believer that it’s never too late for anyone as long as you do the right things and don’t limit yourself in your mind because of things like age

It’s completely normal mate! We all have those feelings, some periods more often and some periods slightly less. As long as that overall feeling is that you want to keep going, you should.

I can tell you, you will never really know and everything can change in the blink of an eye so you gotta stay humble. If you’re currently not able to get on a team, focus on what you can control and do the best you can. Maybe in the future a opportunity present itself and you can join a team. Patience is key 🔑

Sadly I’m 23 now as well and playing prem here in Canada. Not too sure what steps to take yet to get to a higher division. Feels like it’s a bit late for me now that I’m 23. Definitely also made quite a few of these mistakes in my journey and having to take a break didn’t help.

I’m a firm believer that it’s never really to late as age is just a number and I don’t believe you should limit yourself based on your age. If you still want to give it a go - it’s not too late!

How much do u make if i can ask?
@OJFootballX Жыл бұрын
I’m not allowed to say the exact numbers, but it isn’t any life-changing sums ☯️ To give you some idea the lowest earning players earn €1000 a year as it’s a requirement from the federation to pay that minimum, while the highest earners may earn upwards of over €10 000.

Hey man i come from Africa i have a weak passport but i have alot of talent right now i'm at egypt taking the igcse which will help me go to Europe what country do you think i should go to and start to become a pro footballer?
@ogenyoussef32069 ай бұрын
Hey there man, I just wanted to say thank you! I’m a U14 player who plays in the Rec League, but I have a very talented little brother. He is very good, and he is only a 3 year-playing 9 year old, and he beats lots of his more experienced friends. He wishes to one day play professionally, and he needs all the help he can get, as he is from the U.S. If you have any suggestions on networking with KZbin and LinkedIn, it would greatly be appreciated! Thank you yet again!

When do you think it is too late to start training for football if you want to go pro?
@OJFootballX Жыл бұрын
I don’t think you should worry to much about whether it’s too late or not! If you’re enjoying, consistently put in the work and perform on the field your age shouldn’t really be a limiting factor

the teammates one hit me so hard, i've actually become an introvert even though i'm usually not at all, it's just the only way i can play. maybe it's just like that in women's football, cause it's been that way at every team i've been at, small clicks and cold, fake vibes
@OJFootballX Жыл бұрын
Hmm, that sucks 🤔 you can’t really control what other people say and do in a dressing room, but what you can do is just try to be the best version of yourself and try to do the best you can ❤️ I’m sure you will inevitably find an environment where people are generally more open and positive!
@3APNHA Жыл бұрын
@@OJFootballX What type of environment do you think that I should look out for when I choosing to trial/play at a club? Is there anything in particular that should stand out to me when approaching/trialing at a club? Thank you for your advice I really appreciate it, I will definitely be trying to be the best version of myself, I think I needed that reminder 💖 I’m always implementing things to create a good environment for myself, and the team, especially since signing with a Premiere League team this season. You mentioned dressing rooms but unfortunately it's more about what it's like on the pitch, during both training and (sadly) games. I usually play on the wing but I'm playing as a 10/CAM now. I feel that having a good connection with the team is so much more important now. Any other tips on what I can be doing to improve the situation on the pitch that works for you? Also just curious but what positions have you played? What's you're favourite? 🤔
