I'm always blown away at the prices for new Harleys. Heck, I've thought that for at least the last 20 yrs. I'll always buy used! I like my old Harley much better than the new ones. It's easy to work on too. Though, it rarely ever needs anything other than an oil change etc.

I got a Triumph Bobber but swapped the pipes for British Customs drag pipes.The growl makes a world of difference, it was almost too refined before that. Triumph is a bit too conservative in their customization options.

Harley can keep them at there prices, and they are not the best engines either, Honda is certainly a great engine, but there are many real nice custom bikes out there for way less money, in fact scooters are ruling the roads now, so many everywhere, cheap on gas, cheap to repair, ect ect.

What a ugly seat and hardware, they should go for a modern copy of a Lycett or Terry like the ones on early rigid frame pre unit, a classic look with barrel type springs.
