Electric vehicles prove to be great tools for traveling for short distances. They can serve citizens the most, as they have to cover short distances regularly and are always looking for ways to save. Current electric vehicle lineup is quite vast. If you want to support the zero emission movement, you can choose between a small electric car, a motorcycle and a scooter. While cars and motorcycles usually cost a pretty penny, electric scooters can be called the products that have more affordable pricing.
In 2019 many companies decided to bring newer and updated products to their lineups, so we can enjoy at least seven great new electric scooters. They are jam packed with amazing smart features, have efficient electric motors, and high density batteries that are removable and can support fast charging.
When making this video we obtained media and information from official sources; this video presentation was created for educational purposes only and all sources are listed in the credits section of this presentation. After viewing this content you will be able to learn more about the latest changes in the electric scooter lineup and choose the product that has the most suitable pricing and characteristics for you.

I have a "gogoro S1" in Taiwan. I have ridden about 3000km in the last three months, and I love it. Immediate torque on start up. You can't charge at home, because there are battery swap stations everywhere. Even close to the mountains now! 3.7s to 50 km/hr isn't bad. Smooth is best! I usually beat anything at traffic lights.

@raychang8648

@@culcune You can swap batteries anytime you want. My original plan was 600km per month for $799. But now my schedule is different and I don't need to go to the company as often. I will have scheduled maintenance on the 28th. I will downgrade my plan. However, the extra "sport" feature is awesome and I'll continue that. Looks like a small bike, but that thing is a rocket!

LML Scooter (4 stroke) - Milage of upto 65 Km. per liter of petrol, Range 350 Km. LML NV/ Star can be made best 2 wheeler with slight inexpensive modifications and can be made to command largest market share in two wheeler market. I am a family and matrimoniaI consultant and I have first hand knowledge and experience of LML Scooters for more than 33 years, have had XE, NV and Prithvi (two stroke) scooters. In 2016 my LML Pritvi was stolen since then I decided to have at least 2 scooters and it was then that I shifted to 4 stroke scooters. I declare LML made a big leap and their 4 stroke scooters are far better than 2 stroke scooters not only in Power and Mileage but in maintenance also. Since then, I have had 200 CC Star Euro with Disc Break and 150 CC Automatic. I also understand their positive points as well as their drawbacks. Presently I have 2 LML NVs (one with electric self start) and 2 LML Select (one with electric self start), All 4 stroke scooters. I have driven LML scooters to Large distances and still doing that. I am getting a milage of upto 65 Km. per liter of petrol. In addition to these 4 LML scooters, I have also bought one TVS Jupiter to feel the changes and difference. I have also experimented with distributers and workshops and with this experience also have developed some ideas about distribution and maintenance system I claim to be the man with probably largest experience of LML scooters and although I say that LML scooters are best 2 wheelers, I have Ideas about slight inexpensive modifications that will make LML Scooters Most likable 2 wheeler capable to command largest market share in two wheeler market. I wish to discuss with someone, who has vision, wish to make and sell the No.1 Scooter and authority to implement the modifications and make a revolution in two wheeler market. Koi bhi jo apne scooter ka milage badha chahte ho contact kar sakte hain. I can be reached at pkagar@gmail.com

Presumably the first few - all I have seen so far - are made to look like they have regular CVT transmission where in fact they do not? Surely there would be no need to install a CVT unit on something like this. Probably just the drive motor hidden inside what looks like the CVT. Some of these look quite good. EDIT FYI... The Honda PCX 150cc petrol scooter gives me about 130 UK MPG. / 48 KPL. The Hybrid version gives BARELY better than that according to Honda figures. I would say that it is either the electric or the petrol for the time being with the PCX.
@Datacube
@Datacube 6 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you for your feedback. Scooters have different designs and technologies, however usually electric drivetrains aren't equipped with traditional transmission types. Now about Honda. We have recently published a video about plug in hybrid cars and have to say that hybrids don't usually give a significantly better efficiency; what they do however is give you much more power and performance for the same mpg rating. This could apply to hybrid scooters too because hybrid drivetrains work in a similar fashion.

A great invention however I can imagine once electric powered mopeds/bikes hit London streets they will be a target for moped thieves because they don’t make much noise. It’s ideal to creep up on unsuspecting victims if they are using these. also because they don’t make much noise it can also be a bad thing as people won’t hear them coming.

Datacube: awesome facts and interesting top lists but is the sound loud enough to be heard over busy London traffic and pedestrians? I don’t think it will be but I agree we should all be using electric vehicles by now to help combat pollution but the big oil and petrol manufactures don’t want people to go green or they lose too much profit despite providing fuel for aircraft. If the government wasn’t controlled we would all be driving electric vehicles by now. Pedestrians will just have to use there eyes more when attempting to cross the roads if electric vehicles are on the roads in future.

Vespa always has a beautiful scooter however, they are always too slow. Even their 300 is a dog on the highway. In order to travel on today's highways, a car or motorcycle has to be able to reach 100 mph without a struggle.
@Datacube
@Datacube 5 жыл бұрын
Hello, thanks for the feedback. Most scooters are designed to be used in cities, so it's fair to say that they are not optimized for highway riding. If we take larger electric vehicles (motorcycles or cars), those won't have any problem accelerating to 100 mph.

Thank you Data Cube. I drove a Vespa 250 GTV from Nashua NH to West Palm Beach (1500 miles)a few years ago. In the winter. It got me here and I loved that scooter. Great article and the subtitles are really great and I will be following your video's. The new Vespa is just not fast enough for South Florida roads. I would have bought a Vespa 946, but again, just not enough for my needs. Thank-you for getting back to me.

Every type of vehicle has it's pros and cons. This problem could be solved by having more powerful motors, which will lower the range or jack up the prices. In your case, an offroad motorcycle would be more suitable, wouldn't it?
