7 note challenge for oud part 1

I did a similar challenge on the guitar and it was quite an interesting experience, so I I doing this 7 note challenge on the oud. the idea is to improvise using just 7 notes. In this case the notes are d,g, a, b flat, c sharp, d and e flat, as played at the start of the video. There are maybe a couple of other notes thrown in.
