I wouldn't say you were wrong. Rather, I expressed it incorrectly. This is the only time until Chapter 6 that it can be obtained legally. So everything is fine.

Arthurs horse should be the silver dapple pinto, on that albert mason mission you can tell and hear it in arthurs voice that he liked that horse

This game has a lot of issues, but one issue rockstar could add was the ability to buy more stable space for all these nice horses

Since the camp-based hitching post is so convenient, they could simply let us have different horses at different stables. I forget how many stables there are, but that would be plenty of space. Then call whichever one you want to the main camp.

@@bensimpson9175that would be badass . To keep specific ones at whatever stable . Also, it would be nice if since ya know, johns a rancher, and you build a stable / barn. If you could keep however many horses you’d want in the stables and horse area fenced in.

You can get the MFT dapple from the stables in Blackwater as John. I actually had 2 of them by accident at one point. And sold them both because you can buy em again if need be. Just another thing idk how rare if at all, but in pronghorn ranch by the other ranch that has bandits or bad guys you fight. That messes with the people you live with after you become John. If you stand in the entrance looking out towards the empty field and watch with your binoculars . I’ve found a pitch black , like complete jet black, eyes and hair, absolutely nothing other than black all the way around like. I’m serious it has no color other than black on its entire body. It’s an American standard breed. It’ll walk past with 3-5 other random horses sometimes . It is random but I just found it and thought it looked badass being completely blacked out.

I tamed that horse! She's definitely unique. I named her Nyx, after the Greek goddess of night. I looked and looked for even a speck of white and nope...she's pitch black. She's a decent horse, a little better than middle of the road.

If you don't wanna loose dapple pinto use eagle eye to mark horse and after cutscene u should have trail of this horse in case he will be running away from you too much

#7 isn't quite true. You can purchase the spotted Appaloosa from the stable nearest to Van Horn.

There’s other horses rockstar could’ve added. We’re missing the Clydesdale and Percheron draft horses, and American Quarter Horse. Hell they could’ve atleast given the option to own donkeys or mules as mounts.

I’ve used the Dark Bay Turkoman, which I called Rogue, from that mission in Chapter 3 to the mission in Chapter 6 when you get Buell. I’ve taken Buell and freed Rogue so he can be truly free, as Arthur alway wanted to be himself. That horse deserves it after being taken and marked by the Braithwaite, stolen by a bunch of outlaws and dragged around between gunshots and runs. Rockstar should’ve gave us Buell at Chapter 2, anyway

I'm surpised you don't mention the Hungarian Halfbred Piebald Tobiano, Today I'm on my forth run in chapter 6, which is the horse you get when you come back from Guarma. I had it as a temporary horse doing some hunting along with my MFT. It's only at level 2 and without my saddle. MFT bucked me off at the sight of a cougar and left me. My Hungarian rescued me, never bucked me off and stood next to the cougar like a champ. Reason I am restarting the game all over as you can find this horse at various camps way before chapter 5.

I wouldn't recommend taking Buell that way from the veteran. You can also get him by completing his missions, and he gives him to you. Plus it adds to the story

Is this glitch treated as a different individual with the same appearance as the horse thief at Braithwaite's? I was wondering because his name is Dutch Warmblood instead of Buell. Is it possible to ride this horse to see Buell if I wanted to?

Get Buell through this method for Arthur after completing only the first veteran mission and later complete the rest of the missions as John and get the Buell for John as well.

There are two ways to get the Silver Turkoman as Arthur 1. Using cheats 2. If you're in version 1.00 of the game

When you do the glitch to get to new austin with arthur, can you go there only during the mention or does the glitch completely unlock new austin and you can go there anytime?

ofcourse but sometimes the bonding doesn't start in the first attempt with white arabian at that case you just have to fail the mission by killing one of the horses and then retry from the checkpoint after that it will start bonding

I think you should try and show us if Buell is obtainable easily than the shown method after completing veteran 1. Because after that Hamish rides his horse slowly and if you get close fo him you get jump on horse promt. Try that and show us please.

If you play with Buel in the last mission when your Horse gets shoot Arthur actually says his name and something like "Goodbye my old frind Buel"

You can ride Micah's horse but you can't stable it. If you play in pc you can use mods to get the same coat there are lot's of videos you can find in youtube.
