Lenny was born almost exactly a year after my youngest. A few weeks ago I started telling her about this little boy who lives on a boat. Lenny stories are now her favorite. Living far from an ocean in Canada Lenny's every day life is so foreign and magical. We went ice skating one morning last week and she asked if Lenny likes skating, she wondered if he likes making snowmen, if he likes sledding, she is sure he likes skiing and looking at the stars. Today I showed her the boat tour video that Eamon and Bec made. She was so excited that Lenny was a real boy and that his boat actually was a house! 😊 Thanks for sharing your life.

watching the parts of sailing in the warm orange afternoon sunlight reminds me of being on my bayboat here, out in galveston bay (texas). there's NOTHING like saltwater. and being out on the water in that warm afternoon sun is transcendent... there is no "sunday, or wednesday or friday"... there is only the present... and that is usually euphoric. love me some SLV.

Having grown up by the ocean, Charleston, I am very aware of what’s in the water. I could not be as fearless as y’all are about the sharks!!! Also, my three boys (men now) are great swimmers, but they were about 3.5-4 years old before they could swim. Lenny’s ability to swim is just amazing. Y’all are doing such a fabulous job with your boys.
