I'm with you on exclusively finger detangling. I tried it for a couple of weeks this past summer, and the next wash day was a nightmare 😫. That day I spent FOUR hours detangling and removing shed hairs. Not no mo! Un uh. I admire those who can; I cannot, will not. Maybe if I had begun back in the day when my hair was shorter it could've worked. Not now though. I enjoy your content sis! 🌟 ❤️

Finger detangling only never made sense to me like Maths never made sense to me🤣🤣🤣 @@WhatTheKink

I've stopped exclusively finger detangling also. I wasn't removing all my shed hair effectively by exclusively finger detangling, which meant more detangles and longer wash days

Brush styling does not work for me either. The curls are disrupted when doing so. I always liked diffusing. Depending on what stylers I use it took less time than sitting under a hooded dryer. I have a Red by Kiss table top hooded dryer that I dropped and it broke the mechanism that kept the dryer upright. If I used it I would have to hold it up the entire time. Not only that, it was just so hot under there. Fast forward about a year, I decided to get the Red by Kiss 3000 floor standing hair dryer. GAME CHANGER!!!! I feel so relaxed when using it. The medium setting is warm and soothing. My hair sets amazingly well. I was missing out. I find using the Buff at night is the best. If used correctly, ‘cause I was using it wrong initially. It’s a game changer. My hair ends up just kind of tucked under a bit after removing the buff and all I have to do is shake my head a bit to fluff out. Shingling for me makes my hair look piecy. I prefer clumped curls.

For shingling in particular, the only real difference I see is in the separation of *the very VERY ends.* That’s it’s noticeably more flowy, yes. Though it’s nothing that I can’t live without and usually do. So reserve shingling for the very top front sections of my hair because it compliments the face frame.

You know I love a “do less” tip!

My hair laughed at the pineapple. It stayed after I look the scrunchie out!🤣😂😭💀 3-4 ponytails work better for me under my bonnet. My hair likes a paddle brush or shower comb for detangling. For wash n gos I have to apply product soaking wet and I hate diffusing!

Yes always luv looking at your videos.. thank you 🥰💙.. hair is beautiful!

I can not use a styling brush on wet hair either.. it puffs my roots! My hands and smoothing works better and diffusing is a no for me too… I sit under a hair dryer for a few and then air dry the rest of the time

Day 6??!! No way!! Your hair looks better than I've ever seen it! Almost everything you said is true for my hair too with the exception of UFD, which works well for me the way it's commonly used with the further exception that I always use it with a leave-in like KC Knot Today.

TFS! I’m with you on all of these! Twinsees! lol The only product for me that works better on damp hair is Obia naturals custard for wash n go but I just decide it’s better for twists and braids for all that. I use the diffuser after I’m under the dryer after a while for my ends cuz I can’t get everything with the hooded dryer and it gives me a break. It gets very hot under there 🥵

Omg yes to uncle funky needing a ton of layers in order for it to have slip! I gave up on it and now i just use camille rose butter
@barbarakberryАй бұрын
I use more Uncle Funky’s Daughter and less water too. My style is more frizzy and less defined when I use more water as recommended.

whaaaat is this combo???

I used to have this problem with uncle funky's until I started to use a leave in with it like the kinky curly one. Try it out!
@tarac7227Ай бұрын
How do you use it? Do you layer it or mix them together?
@biloushka8437Ай бұрын
@tarac7227 I layer them. Leave in first, then unc’e funky's
