Well it's possible you like her positives and you don't like her negatives, so you are hoping to find someone who has her positives and doesn't have her negatives. She is telling you her positives are unique to her so you should consider putting up with the negatives since you won't find those positives elsewhere. It actually makes a lot of sense. People are irreplaceable. I miss a lot of things about my second ex even though she drove me crazy.

I am in your age range and when very young, maybe about late 20's or 30 yr. old if I seriously cared I would try and think of a way to heal the split up, but looking back, I (as you said) or inferred, it is better to just walk away because seriously, when a woman does not want to be with me...maybe she is looking for "money" or something I do not have enough of, well, I know for many years now, , even if I lost a special person (and I did lose one that I could hardly believe her many great qualities, etc,) but anyway no matter how I actually hurt that time, I never tried to have her back. If one does not want to be with me or for any reason and she is still shopping, then I felt years ago, finally, and for a long time presently that it was too humiliating and I'd be a fool, an ignoramus to go after one who doesn't want whatever I have or whatever I am. I got married once and after she was caught in the act w/a guy, that was enough for me and tho' a good number of chances came, even a few I'd have considered earlier in life...I was not going through that ever again. Seems women are like a musical instrument of emotions and feelings... and one needs to make the experience of playing a tune that they will be mesmerised by... with one thing leading to another in the dance of emotions which ends up with nature having its way... learning how to confidently do this seems to be the goal. Confidence gives the body language and the attraction to stand out from the crowd, and even have them SUBCONSCIOUSLY Flirting. Seems that there is a lot to learn in this regard. How two virgins ever expect to confidently boldly go where they have not gone before is a mystery and hence, many first marriages fail... many try it and say its not for me... But if you know how to dance the dance... asking a woman for sex is like asking a rock to roll... you have to make it happen by the lure and seduction and that's IF YOU'RE ALREADY MARRIED! A sexless marriage statistically is 10 times a year or less by the definition. So just because you won the girl and got married doesn't make it a daily occurrence... as the Zen masters say, the destination is the journey. Fully present, in the timing of the rhythm to trigger those emotions that play the song of love, intimacy and eventually leading to sex with everyone in the right mood. Otherwise sex with someone who is not in the mood is soul destroying in a marriage, if it is too often the only sex. On the other hand, who said ONE WIFE, or ONE WOMAN is the RULE? Its the modern era and a threesome looks to be better than two... Moslems can have 3 wives and still be faithful and moral... its all a mindset that is ingrained by the society. But an open mind can be ready for more. If we are emotionally stable enough to try a new tune.

Some women are worth trying to work things out. Some ate not. Same with men. Only if you feel it is worth it, its when you try to get her/him back. I had a good relationship with a great girl but she feels my fam hates her (not true) and that it will be hard for me to focus on our own family. (Also not true). I made it clear what I want. She is stuck on those thoughts. I am giving her big space. I am on NC. And I have hope and faith she matures and comes back. These things are minor and can be changed. I feel like the COVID made people stress and over think, making them hard to think and have the ability to see reality. I feel that the NC is the only option. I was getting stressed too when she got stressed. Just I have been through tough times that I handled it. She could not handle it and made her think what is not and break up. We need to have compassion. We have try to understand that in COVID times, many relationships and being broken. Stay strong and have faith. This is my thought. I have met many people that are breaking up because the women are getting depressed. Small things will make them get worse and they will blow up. Too much to learn but we must understand Some exes are not worth trying. Some are. Too many negative comments in all these videos. Sometimes we do need the break. This advice is based on all the people involved being honest with themselves but some people are not honest with there feelings and manipulate situations. I was in a relationship where she had two ex boyfriends still hanging around and both claimed to be just friends. I realised after a time (to cut this short) that both wanted to be with her again and she was playing the situation. I finished the relationship after she went on a one to one holiday with one of them (their just friends after all). I walked on down the road and kept my self-repect though it hurt to be used and played. WingmanTV's thoughts on this would be interesting.

If you loved someone and were really intimate both physically and emotionally with a real deep connection then friends is off limits. Females you meet as friends off the bat are different.. Women want stable relationships but they want excitement as well. Once they have these stable relationships it gets 'boring' when it's really just stable and safe. Then they stuff things up looking for that new high and leaving a committed man mind boggled why anyone would throw something good away 🤔 There is really only one male female relationship that is truely till death. That's between a mother and her son. In most cases.. deep down that's what a lot of men want in a woman.. Unconditional love and commitment like this..

I'll try to keep this short. We've been in couples therapy, and our therapist strongly suggested we take a break. Since our break she's been blowing up my phone about argumentative issues. I finally got her to agree to no contact, to which she still contacted me about argumentative issues. But as of late, she's been not contacting me. Flipped the script, got her to agree to NC, and I'm being the leader in it. I was thinking of sending a text (after a week) to acknowledge her efforts to stay NC, short and sweet, and end it with "we'll talk soon". Thoughts?
