I think you're spot on with this. I grew up with an emotionally immature mother and a domineering, arrogant, bullying father who would criticize and humiliate me on every occasion. I developed low self esteem and a feeling I wasn't good enough to warrant a woman's affection. Still working through some issues, but being able to identify the problem is the first step. In an age run by Instagram where women are being validated by "likes" daily, men don't play an important role. Average looking girls think they are models because of the daily selfie validation showered upon them. Men, stop hitting that "like" button on IG, you're only making matters worse.

I dated a good bit while young, but nothing was really working out. At age 24 everything turned around for me dating-wise. Not because "I am good enough", but "What have I got to lose?" Talking to women, flirting hard, not caring if I got them or not! It became fun! Consequently I have dated and/or laid way more women than a guy like me should be able to. Many fell in love, more than I deserved, really. It also helps not to be cocky unless it's in a very humorous manner, because, yes, women want to feel safe and comfortable around you. And because they like confidence, but not hubris.

I've watched more (20+) videos from your channel than any other (and this is a great compliment!). Your insights and explanations are impressive. Learned more about non-verbal communications here than any other non-verbal communications studies I've tried. This is the first video I differ partly on. A percentage of people can change based on popular formula change thought, attitude, behavior (or alike, somewhere in your video). Positive affirmations, going to uncomfortable environments to strengthen character, etc. But most people cannot change significantly by such (though they can change marginally). The question is why not? My opinion it is due to emotional-muscular tensions that obstruct. It would take years and years to use positive affirmations to change these.

When you made the comment about the guy in a wheelchair being with attractive women, the true is that women don't find him as a threat. If he shows confidence then they find him very approachable. When I'm out and socializing, younger guys come up to me and ask why so many women approach me. I treat a woman as a person and not an object.

For some reason I feel very concerned about the fact that I’m not the breadwinner, & not rollin in a lot of Benjamin’s! I’m single, not in debt, on SS & doing actually very well. But for some reason this question bothers me & I keep feeling that a woman will run when she sees I’m not “loaded”! What do you think about this?

Anna, this is such an excellent point, i really liked how you described the self image as a perception too, meaning it is not necessarily real. I think so often we take on or assume other people's perceptions. which is terrible because that takes away from the real you, leading to anger, bad attitude etc and then we are fighting something that is not even real, it is just someone else's idea, or your fear of someone else's idea. I can 100% buy into the idea that your perception of yourself is a major factor in one’s daily interactions whether that be romantic or not. Because when you are in your own head in a negative way, that’s going to be reflected back at you by the people you are around to some extent. You have to choose to see yourself positively. Awesome comment, thanks!! If you're getting bullied at 16 for being attracted to older women, then those guys bullying you are feeling insecure about their chances with a cougar/ milf. The best sex ed you'll get is with an older *more experienced* woman (just don't go for anyone who could go to jail for getting busy with you!). Good advice. I would add, know the difference between Confidence and Arrogance. I've been with guys that probably weren't all that attractive (they were to me) but they rocked my world. Then meet guys who are flat out hot, but had such egomania I couldn't bear to sit across a table from them, let alone go up to their hotel room. A jerk is a jerk.

I enjoy your channel. It always gives me the impression, however, of men being in a store window resumes in full view, with women walking by shopping for the one that suits their needs. Its all so clinical, formulated and contrived. lol.
Yes & so, ....... I mean , so, It is sad that we learn from the things that we suffer, but when we come here, we learn from the things that you suffered. Thx for refining us ;) P.s. I am good enough

I don't think much can be learned from that. That is a "sympathy" situation, where a woman thinks it would make their life worthwhile to take care of someone. Steven Hawking had such a marriage. It is not unlike the women who want to marry jailed killers whom they have never met. I had a GF, an intelligent teacher who'd had a nervous breakdown and could not work. She left me for a guy who could not read or write - I guess as teaching him would give her a purpose. She was a lovely girl, we had perfect chemistry, and she would have been my perfect match - but she thought her "project" was more important.

One of your best videos you made Anna. I definitely used to have that “ i am a piece of crap” mindset growing up so i lived in the friend zone all thru my teen years & early twenties. I even got into great shape but still had that crappy mindset and confidence was shaky so i still turned women away. What thing i gotta dispel is the height myth because guys think just because you are over 6ft tall then women will be lining up for you which is clearly nonsense. I been 6ft2 since high school & i can’t tell you how many women rejected me and hooked up with short guys.

Thank you for sharing that, so happy you enjoyed this video! And thank you for the note about height! I feel bad for you that you went through feeling like a piece of crap and hope that you've gotten past the worst of feeling bad about yourself. Life is a learning journey, the whole way right to the end, I'm afraid. So we might as well embrace it and get on board with realizing that -- partly because of the world we live in (commercialism exists to make us feel "less-than" that's how products are sold -- we will always need to remind ourselves our of true worth.*You're not junk!* ❣️

WingmamTV Anytime! Your videos are helping a lot of men. I tell younger guys that they have all the help available online because growing up KZbin was not around yet and i judged myself so harshly on stuff that i shouldn’t have like (Stretch marks from getting taller, Being overweight, Losing my hair, but I’ve accepted the things about me that i can’t change and improved everything else.
