My precious Shadow was the quintessence of the breed, though he was feral. Lithe, very muscular, with a silky gray coat and beautiful, loving yellow-green eyes. We rescued him from a 10 degree winter night, and the vet said his paw pads were like shoe leather which broke my heart. It was not long before he forgot his outdoor life, and tucked into our arms with lovely purring. He was my "boyfriend", and was extremely loving, but was especially attached to me! At night when the lights went out I would feel his whiskers on my face as he gave me gentle love bites or licks on my eyebrow, cheek or bottom lip. A great lover! He slept every night under my armpit. We lost him early at 10 years due to his having ingested a foreign body while feral. I mourn him like it was yesterday, though it has been 8 years. Have not been able to bring myself to adopt another kitty, though I long for one, because I'm afraid I'll feel hurt if it doesn't love me with the fierceness and fervor of my Shadow. Pray for me that I can get over his loss and open my heart to another precious pussy cat!

I have a gray kitty - she is a mix - part of a litter of 5 kittens of all colors and markings. But I chose her because she seemed like the best fit for my personality. She must be part Russian Blue because she looks exactly like these cats. She even loves riding in the car with my Cavalier, looking out the window...she gets better each year! So I am very happy that she is a long lived kitty!

my wonderful Russian Blue of decades ago loved to watch from heights. He especially loved to watch from the top of the refrigerator. I never saw him get up there or get down; he just did.

My boys 8 today! Hes half blue half korat! Looks acts just like a korat! Korats are considered to be gods! My boy is indoor! As i got him at 6wks too young to learn many cat skills! Plus my neighbors have 5 dogs not all cat friendly! Hes not docile or shy around new people! Hes a korat! He prefers his people doesnt like being alone! He loves my sons disabled adult son!we dont play much due to my limitations but he plays by himself!hes not hypoallergenic! Korats arent bred with others as they are half gods! My boy doesnt have a smile look! My boy was a preemie has severe asthma! My boys a good guard cat! He purrs against my sore foot! Hes not quiet around me! He doesnt ignore guests as hes so curious! I like blues prefer korats!

I'm just watching this video, because I'm curious. My almost 15 year old Siamese cat passed away on 10-20-21, and I'm pretty sure that the Siamese is the right breed for me.
