I've never been a fan of Ariana, but I do appreciate a good cover song any day. I absolutely adore traditional instruments, especially from cultures not my own. I love the combination you all do, of contemporary music with traditional instruments. It's very Japanese in my opinion; your country has excelled in growing steadily into the future and keeping up with Europe and America while at the same time holding onto your roots that grow deep into the past. Part of Japanese culture is that symmetry between deeply rooted history and tradition with high tech and modern evolution. My favorite part is Drum TAO represents that musically, to bring that intricate culture of Japan front and center so that a western audience that may know nothing about Japan, can see it and hear it, and will walk away with a deeper understanding for our eastern ally and friend. Absolutely spectacular. I appreciate the videos and someday hope to see you all live in concert. Until then, much love from New York. ❤️
