Cor i’m sure they weren’t genuinely having that much fun the entire time. It’s probably just stage presence this isn’t a live one take recording you know? They probably did it a lot of times and felt pretty burned out but that’s how art gets made it’s hard work

@TomboCreations

@@jessejive117 As a former muso who has performed solos as well as with others in choirs and orchestras, I can guarantee that yes the practice for this recording is not always all fun. But the end result and every actual performance put on whether on stage or recording, like this video, is extremely fun. This video is not the practice stage of being a performer, it's the performance stage where they've done their hard practice and all that is left is to perform. Group performances can sometimes make you nervous and anxious especially if you play a significant stand out part in a piece, but the atmosphere and music created by yourself and your group is like no other feeling. It will give you a sense of euphoria as the sound of the music you love literally surrounds you as you are creating it. So the joy they show in this video is most ikely genuine.

@@JeanSosa1914 Could be difficult to translate. I know back in the 90s and earlier, a lot of Swedish artists would either do translated covers of songs in English, or they'd make an international (English) version of their Swedish song and... well, sometimes it worked okay. But there was usually a few things that went sideways during the translation since the new text still has to match the instrumental bit. These days, English is more pervasive than ever, what with being the "default language" of large parts of the internet. If a song is already in English, it probably wouldn't feel "worth it" to translate the lyrics when the target audience probably knows English well enough. Exceptions made for Disney songs. And for artists who also double as linguists, those mad lads and ladies will do a translated version with surprising fidelity purely for the challenge (though usually from a non-English language to English, not the other way around afaik)
