7. Roles of Women: Imam al Mahdi's Mother | Dr. Sayid Jafar Alhasany | Muharram 2024

Muharram 1446 / 2024 -- Night 7
Under the general theme of studying the various important roles played by women throughout Islamic history, and through which they were identified as inspirational role models for us all, this lecture examine the role of the mother of Imam al-Mahdi, may God hasten his reappearance. Specifically, by looking at the historical record and narrational reports, we can conclude that she was actively leading an underground network of activities, with a number of other women, in order to protect the life of Imam al-Mahdi and his mission, especially against the efforts of the Abbassids. As a result, she was oppressed and imprisoned more than once. This is part of a larger network of similar activities led by other women throughout the lives of Ahlul Bayt, peace and blessings upon them.

You are wasting your time. First, the imam you are waiting for was not born and is a myth invented hundreds of years later. Second, the reputation of his claimed mother (if there was one) is a disgraceful and shameful one. She was handed from one slave trader to another, and many unethical incidents happened with those slave traders. Leave your biases and study the narrations and history with a critical objective mind. Shia approach is: we believe and after that we dig for an evidence for this belief. Not different from the Christians when they twist every historical incident or biblical verse to support their claim of the trinity, divinity of Jesus and the crucifixion

You mentioned nothing meaningful, the imam not have been born yet is a myth 👍🏼 where is the disgraceful and shameful history, why dont you give proof of that? Also thats only one version of who his mother is. Arent you guys who believe the Prophets mother is in hellfire and a kafir? So why is this offending you when you dont even respect the mother of the prophet?
