On the other hand, Some parents believe that God intended their child to be born as they are and extreme medical interventions are against his wishes. Not all parents are mentally and physically able to deal with such children...Wife is a nurse and has seen it all.

Every child deserves to be given life, love, nutrition, hydration, and oxygen.

In Europe and Canada, etc.special needs children's parents are encouraged to end their lives. Teens and adults with special needs are also encouraged to give up their lives as well. This is genocide, promoted by Adolf Hitler and even Margaret Sanger-founder of Planned Parenthood.

@@sandienzminger9401 of course. but my unborn older sister had this syndrome. doctors told us if she was born she would suffer in pain constantly. her head was incredibly small, she didn't have the needed coronary vessels and some of her intestines were out. there were plenty more other anomalies that i don't remember. living with a child like that is incredibly hard but letting go of your child for their own good is even harder. i don't support giving birth to children with such painful syndromes. a life full of pain.

@@mspnisan1055 There is no pain that compares to loosing a child, no matter the circumstance. The problem with not allowing babies to be born is that it is scientifically impossible for doctors to be 100% accurate on ANY diagnosis pre-birth. As individuals, every baby deserves to be carried as close to term as possible, delivered alive, stabilized, then evaluated for ACTUAL condition.

Doctors have to swear an oath to do no harm. Choosing to allow a precious child to die without doing your best to help them is equal to doing harm. Any doctor who thinks they have a right to play God like this should have their license revoked.

Open heart surgery and j-tubes are not normal life saving procedures. Doctors are under no legal obligation to perform open heart surgery or a create a port for nutrients on children with serious birth defects. If you have a heart defect that will kill you without surgery and can’t even get calories without medical intervention that is in fact by definition “incompatible with life”. That child only survived because of medical intervention.

And her baby also had a neural tube defect aka missing part of their brain😊

@@WickedlyMe328 Actually this child does have Full Trisomy 18, and NO prenatal diagnosis (such as Trisomy 18 or neural tube defect) is 100% accurate.
