I'm fine with it and some people got the chance to be a NPC in WOW even a Quest Starter before they died. So why should it be relevant some old things.

You know the dog quest that is also a tribute to someone , the first time I got the quest I had no idea what this was all about. I just thought it was a dump quest. There was more inside the cave under the whirlpool. There is the first demon hunter NPC in the game (other than Illidan) in that cave, that was put there back in Cataclysm.

that whirpool was also a quest, my friends and I leveled some toons over there!! you have to kill the Demon spawn in there! The npc that sends you back is also or was also part of the quest line.

in the "hidden zone" there actually is a certain lore related mob you get an achievement from. The sleeping dragon was meant as a questnpc for a certain questchain that was not finished however the npc is still there. Also its a tribute to a diing child of one of the developers (at least the name).

Skeleton in barber's shop has actually very easy way to explain it > Remember the PRE-Cata? There was originally goblin running the shop...now just where did he go and why he would just give up prospering business and leave it to some gnome guy, especially since they are almost blood rivals and for goblins money are everything. Also as far as I know only Bilgewater Cartel joined the horde and that one was introduced in Cata. Up then there was primarily Steamwheedle cartel, which is neutral to both, so there was no real need for him to go.

The dragon has not been there since vanilla, it has been added in 5.3 and is a tribute to the son of one of the developers (andre) if i am right. I dont know if the child died though.

Incorrect, there is a reason to go to the Maelstrom in Darkshore, especially if you’re an Alliance. The Maw of the Void, better known as the Darkshore Maelstrom is part of an Alliance only stand-alone quest called Writings of the void. You obtain this quest by Jumping into the Maw, which will teleport you to the Bashal'Aran Collapse. Run past the Druid and up the embankment and kill the Demon Hunter Telarius Voidstrider. He will drop a quest item “Writings of the Dark Herald” that you turn into Ranger Glynda Nal'Shea. Upon completion the quest gives the achievement Ghosts in the Dark for 10 points. Extra tidbit: the fall into the Bashal'Aran Collapse can also give you the “Going Down” achievement too.

Like how the 1st one is actualy a reference to a movie, or the Troll Chale in Nagrand was probably intended for a quest that was removed because it was too creepy, and also it got explained in Warlords of Draenor that she is a witch that eats other ppl to stay young... So yeah, she eats the kids that she probably kidnapped to stay young, and the troll is just a desguise, she can addopt the apperance of the ones she ate. She is realy an orc.

@@12345legofreak I already explained that. Challe, the troll in TBC was meant for a questline that got scrapped. In draenor they actualy took the idea back, and implemented it. Challe is not a troll. Is an ancient orc witch, who eats young beings to stay alive. She can take on the forms of those she devours. Thats why she has all those babies and all the bones in the camp. She is creepy... but not a mistery anymore.

You forgot to mention once you teleported to the cave in darkshore that there's a quest for you to do inside of it and as well as the spirit of a Demon Hunter you need to kill to do the quest. And as for the barber shop in Stormwind the corpses under the floor is a nod to Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Hey, I like this sort of content, but I think, you can improve by doing some things like: a) scripting, so your content sounds more fluid and thought over b) here specifically: Show the map c) do a little research and build links. Even though many will have seen stuff (wow is quite old already) they may not know what it is about. Or theorize, if you do not find anything about it :D I started playing at around 2006 (with a couple of breaks) and I think, I saw at least four new things. Thats ok to me :)

You said the Dragon Cave has been there since vanilla, but the NPC according to wowpedia was added in Mists of Pandaria. Things you cant explain are often Tributes to real people who died.

I think the robot sheep was a throw back to the 'Mechanical Critters' item in Warcraft III, because more often than not you'd get a robot sheep from it! I think it's a little strange that Vaulty didn't get the connection.

I've actually explored to the dragon's lair before due to my own boredom. And I remember a while back once I saw it, I looked it up and one of the answers I got was it was a tribute to an employee's child named Andre. I don't remember if it was like a memorial or anything, but that's just what I discovered.

Andrestrasz, the dragon, is actually believed to be some sort of reference to someone unknown named Andre perhaps, who might have had something going on with Blizzard, but died at the age of 5. Hence the level of the dragon. Maybe he was a son of a Blizzard Employee? Nobody knows who exactly he was, but most likely it is a reference to some 5 y/o.

Challe is actually first found in Kalimdor. Everybody was suspecting her to harm the children. Now there in Nagrand Blizzard actually gave her a story. There is a whole questline just for her, very intersting stuff :) check it out

I am surprised you didn't mention Challe in Nagrand in the AE Draenor in connection to the Troll in Nagrand. If you're going to talk about a secret, you should at least follow through. You also didn't mention the secret quest in the whirlpool cave in Darkshore. The Dragon, Andrestrasz, is a tribute to a Blizzard employees child. (Not officially confirmed, but verified by people I know that have worked at Blizzard for a long time.)

The Dragon was put in the game by the developers in respects of a young player that unfortunately had Cancer. The dragon was originally awake but when the kid died they put the dragon to sleep.I can't remember if the name is a re-imagination of his real name or his character's name but you can literally find it all online. It has been spoken about and it isn't a mystery.

In Tanarris there is a big cave with instances, wherw you could of gotten a T6 for the BC expansion. Infront of the cave there is the same dragon that sits there, so this might be his home!!!!

the darkshore swirl gives you a secret quest that this video doesn't even show you. If you go up the ramp behind the NPC you will find a demon hunter kill them and you get a quest to hand in.

Hey, one place you could do that not many have done Videos on is the Forgotten Crypt. It's in Dead Wind Pass and there is only one Legitimate way to get in as of Legion and that is also to do the whole questline for the Puzzle Mount Lucid Nightmare. Long Questline that had me online for at least 10 Hours (logging off for more than 30 mins resets the whole chain or something like that) so it would take awhile to get it done. Plus at the end of it all, you get to the Forgotten Crypt to claim the mount! Two Birds, one stone.
