DroPolter- picked it up based on maybe Shut Up & Sit Down’s recommendation? FANTASTIC. We’ve pulled this out on two Halloween-themed occasions with separate sisters-in-law and their boyfriends that we were meeting for the first time. One of those was with other adult family around and some teenagers who were not keen on attending a Halloween party for the small children of their dad’s new girlfriend’s family. Bless their hearts. Point is, DroPolter was a hit! Consumed everyone playing, teens and up, lots of laughs, success, failure, accusations of cheating- it was silly and FUN. Also, $20 and quality components packed into a tiny box. One sister in law called later to ask about the name of the game so she could pick it up for Christmas. It had the added benefit of making us feel fancy to be in the know about a tiny German game 😂 I would not pull it out with kids under 10- they just don’t have the finger dexterity- and my parents have arthritis and it just wouldn’t be fun for them. But basically ages 10-50 (depending on onset of arthritis), this is a goofy fun dexterity filler. They should make a version for every holiday.

The vibe - “let’s hurry up and win three times so we don’t have to play any more”.

DroPolter is a lot of fun. Some people could be better but the bells make it so great. And it's so fun that it really doesn't matter if you lose

I saw a review on Dro Polter and had it ordered immediately after, great little game.

I have to add to all the love for DroPolter. Perfect 'dumb' game.

Contrarium sounds interesting but I agree that the words on the back don't make sense. Mandarin is a type of orange, not the opposite of orange. I could see this game leading to more arguments than fun.

Here in Berlin people have gone dropolter wild. I think the designer is local.

Tom, a hot dog is definitely not a sandwich. It has starch on three sides and is therefore categorized as a taco. I am sure you understand this but wanted to clarify since the Cube Rule must be referred to if “type of sandwich” is the question (it’s anarchy otherwise).

So sub only sliced down the middle is a taco? A sausage sandwich is a taco. You sir, are living in a structure of lies!

I've got Tilt & Shout and I find it problematic. The device itself is fiddly and no matter how many times you tell people to be gentle, they get excited and are too rough on it, and bump the tilting part out of it's track, or knock the clear part off. Also, as the level changes, the marble sometimes gets stuck and doesn't roll, as you could see in your review. I like games like this, like Ka-Blab and Tapple, but this one is just not well-built enough.

I think in Dropolter you're not supposed to be looking at the items in your hand as you drop them... Supposed to have your closed hand facing mostly down and drop the correct pieces by feel. Or maybe that the advanced version...???

That's the advanced mode.

It isn't a true game of Dro Polter unless someone has sent the ghost flying across the room. 👻 💨

8:46 the point of Contrarium is the same as in 'Family Feud'. But they need to be very clear and honest about how the answer was polled, otherwise, if you think for a minute, these are the answers some random guy wrote to himself - The game fails in every dimension.
