He has broken his back and fractured his skull and broken some of his ribs. He had an operation, and they fused two of his back bones. He has no feeling in his legs. Pray for healing and a quick recovery please. Before anyone asks, I don't know why he was on the roof. But it turned out badly for him. Hitting that big like Gabe, what a blessed words and wisdom God has given you towards this and it is needed to be said and heard. I can completely agree with what Gabe is saying here, I used to date in the past and it turned out to be big failures, I was not ready at all. It left me and them hurt. 2 years ago I gave my life to Christ and it is because of Jesus that my relationships within my family have been restored. I love my family, I used to date out of the wrong motives, as Gabe said to be her savior, to be the man. That is trying to keep up appearence and it is exausting. There is nothing like Jesus in your life and His abudance, His joy, His love, His peace to walk out of. Seek first God with all your heart and He will set your path straight. He is so real and His love is so powerful that no matter what is going on in your life right now with your emotions or thoughts , He knows your struggle and He can help you overcome it. I just listened to Bob Seger - Accompany Me, and I remembered some eagles I was watching one day in WA. They were doing what I heard that they sometimes do. I heard that sometimes eagles that are thinking of pairing up, well, the female will take a stick and fly real high and then drop the stick to see if the male eagle will pick it up before it falls to the ground, and eagles sometimes grab talons while in flight and hold on that way, falling and then releasing when they get near the ground. These two eagles that were doing that were over a body of water. I saw them doing these things. With the stick thing, it's almost as if one was saying to the other, "If you drop the ball, or fail, I will act to be there for you, or something like that. * What if a young man called up, or knocked on a door of the house where was a young lady that he knew just a little, and asked to speak to one of her parents, telling them that he would like to ask their daughter if she would accompany him to _____________ event, simply saying that he was wondering if they could be good company together for an evening. What would you do if you were that parent? You might want to know some more about him, or maybe you would want to tell him to come back in a few days. Meanwhile you would talk to your daughter and tell her what happened, and if she has any interest in the man, that the parent would talk about being good company, and about how to behave, what to do and what not to do. Then the young man might come back and if he is answered by the young lady he might ask her out and she might say yes or she might say no, but a little prep work might not be a bad idea. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Or was that just two eagles playing with a stick and nothing more?
