I’m 63, and at this point in my life I don’t have much interest in anyone who avoids looking me directly in the eye or avoids conflict at the expense of the truth. Body language is a pretty reliable indicator of lying. It’s important to refrain from justification and making excuses for others. I wish I’d learned that lesson at a younger age-but better now than never. Stay stoic and strong everyone!

I wish I had recognized this in people earlier as well. I turned 58 this month and I'm currently dealing with someone who I've been partnered with for a year and a half and I cannot truly say we've had one really deep conversation. I will not go into attachment styles but if you know anything about him I'm sure you know what I'm dealing with. I've seen so many inconsistencies in behavior, including body language over the course of our relationship and am just now letting myself accept it for what it truly is, lying. I will use the word deceit for a lot of the behavior because I like to differentiate lying and being deceitful lying to me is you are doing it like straight to my face consciously wine deceive is like you're lying to me but you're also lying to yourself and you probably done that your whole life and may not realize how you are coming off to the world at large.

Hmm.......I've encountered quite few people that could look you In the eyes and lie without batting an eyelash. Especially my last 2 exs. I have hard time trusting anyone anymore. And anymore one intentional lie I don't have much to do with them anymore. Rather clean my toilet than be in the presence of dishonest people. Better is an honest enemy than a lying friend

Close family members betray you the most, like my malicious narc sister, triangulation, word salad, boring monologues, NEGATIVE, ungrateful, in denial, fraude in new energy contracts of our mom & stephdad just to get a bonus, opportunist pathological liar, envy, hate (devil's advocate), not able to love others, selfish, ruining birthday & Christmas parties, using your weakness pushing your buttons on purpose, using flying monkeys, devaluating others, focused on others instead of looking inward. Overall dumb unhappy people, constantly looking for validation, copy cats of empaths, materialistic, living in a fantasy world. Blaming others for their chaos created. My stephdad never looks you in the eyes, shaking your hand (red flag).

I chose to be an empath people pleaser and need self-love. Not easy as mom passed away on September 11th 2024 I chose not to invite my hypocrite fake sister to the funeral. Where was this monster all these years, inaware that our mom nearly died twice in January and March to May 2024. My evil sister is a psychopath with Hoarding Disorder and abandonment issues. Strange this self-sabotage and focus to destroy family members out of envy and a hidden agenda to inherit her dads real esrate in Paramaribo and mom's finances. I think we must have the same sister. All of the above plus ....... Not just Christmas or birthdays, but if someone had an achievement, we never ever had a special dinner to celebrate, because it would upset her too much and the dinner would be ruined anyway. One time something very special happened at school. I came home and told my mom, she was upstairs and listening and just about blew the house apart with her rage over how I'm always bragging, only told my mom in private. Also snooping, eavesdropping, spying, trying to get some kind of dirt on others. As an adult would try to bond with others and get them to drink and then press with personal questions. Actually took notes during personal phone conversations. (Glad I never drank with her, but knew others who did). Oh and suicide faking, as a manipulation. Self feeder, if there's only one left, she will take it, even if she doesn't really want it, just so someone else doesn't get it. Also stealing. One year all the gifts she gave to others for Christmas were stolen and she got caught and we returned them to the lady she worked for. Also stealing in such a way that someone else gets blamed. I didn't see lying in your comment, I guess that goes without saying, ha, ha, ha Haven't spoken to her in years, life is so much nicer.

I, too, lost a son to a health issue. What I needed was close conversation. What I got was being avoided by the group as individuals. They were trying us as if we were being judged. They were in a place where the other party - including me - needed 😢unvarnished integrity from their answers. There was not enough substantive content in the exchange to be worth the effort we were struggling through.

This game is a scam. They literally just have mostly bots you fight against. And if you start winning too much. Then they team you up with the worst of the bots. All there reward give aways are a joke the only way you can win one of there give aways is buy spending money. There code or algorithm Is designed to make sure no one is winning anything. Literally I had direct shots right between the eyes, or middle of the chest with one of the strongest guns on the game from the recommended distance and it wouldn't even count it. The literal game itself is designed to make players get upset so they'll spend money. Your guns will start to shoot slower for no reason. Your shots won't count. And they'll put you up against a bot account with almost the best gear and robot on the game. After all if they used the best stuff they had all on one of there own. Then that would leave nothing able for someone to buy inorder to win.
