You have to stay focused to pull it off and remember their playbook: Deny, Divert, Dismiss - Deny at all costs, Divert the conversation by bringing up a semi-related topic with feigned emotion to get you off topic and emotionally defending yourself. Dismiss is when they call you crazy after you react/argue with them over the diversion. They ALL use the same 3 steps. 🙂

Dealing with a narcissist is exhausting and disappointing. I have dealing with a covert narcissist and his family for years; first I noticed his family as been toxic, especially his mother; then, after decades of marriage I came to realized that I was dealing with narcissist, including my husband, breaking not only my hearth, but even deeper, my soul. Cheating, lying and even making fun of me about the affairs when I didn't know he was cheating opened my eyes and now I see him as a very totally different person. He denies the affairs, even I have the proof and when he was not able to respond my questioning, he becomes arrogant and cynic, and if I don't back down from my evidence, then he threatens to kill himself making me feel guilty and afraid of what he can do if I keep pushing to accept his responsibility.

When he goes low you go high. Non react. Act disinterested. Do not give them a reaction. But dont just give them everything 😊

I dont think lying them back or stalking them etc is a good idea. every time you resorts to methods narcissists use you betray yourself and your moral compass. and eventually, you'll only exhaust yourself or trap yourself in a unending circle of war - its not the best purpose to live your life. i prefer leaving them behind, making them confront their end eventually, without me.

Yup. But sometimes, it’s not possible to escape without knowing the extent of the problem. And refusing to use some tools in self defense pretty much guarantees they’ll end up being the only tools used against you.

@@KZbinhandlesaresilly i ran away without knowing the extent of the problem, I just felt my body cant take it anymore so I left. And even if you use some tools the revenge will still be upon you no matter what tools you use unless Lord decides to put an end to their revenge. The more you engage the happier they are, deep inside.

I see where the show Snapped comes from. I mean they will push you into someone you arent. Spin city, world salad, doesnt stop talking, makes you feel less than. Nope thats their insecurities. Its kinda sad. Im glad im not.

As what others have said in the comments, best thing to do is just ignore. Every person with narcissistic traits I have encountered tried to play with my mental and yes, I let them drain me, destroy me and make a fool out of me until I become coldhearted. It's funny when you hear them tell liesssss when you already know the truth. They'll be surprised once they know you outsmart them and make the tables turned. This gamr is not for the weak.

Thanks for the video. Insisting on apology may be too much: Orion Taraban said that women (not only narcissists) really hate to apologise. They do it their own, more subtle ways.

All right he has done all these things ? But i never understood or knew . A friend said sge seen him down a certain road . He denied it at 1st . Then said i never saw you ? She said no i was in my daughters car but i saw you lie wen you told jan you were so n so place ? As id txtd jan and askd didnt no you changed car ? N then finding womens hair grips on floir i dont use them ??? N then scratch on bk said he done himself . Then dog had done them . Best meet some mates all male all names began with same letters B . N then few days later i askd him again n surprise all mens names called to G lol 😂 lies . Lairs have gotta have good memory my Dad taught me .
