Imagine being born to a narcissistic parent and you grow all the way up into your late twenties thinking that was normal. You start to learn in your early 30's the extent of the evil that has been done to you. A child really is the perfect target for a narcissist. Completely defenceless, not even knowing they are being wronged in the first place, because that's all they know. This is what happened to me. Finally, after 31 years, I'm getting the help I need to undo the damage that has been done. What I;m struggling with is the fact that I think the biggest flying monkey of my fathers narcissistic rampage over the last 45 years (I have older siblings), is my mother. She is currently engaged in a campaign of trying to get me to forgive him and resume fathers days wishes for the first time in 5 years. Imagine being attacked by your mother for not sending fathers day wishes to the biggest baddest childhood bully you can possibly imagine. Not a bully that bullies you at school, but one who bullies yet at every chance he gets in the one place you should feel safe: in the care of your parents in your own home. It's horrible that I am having to consider the possibility of ending or at least keeping at a very safe distance the relationship with my own mother, on top of my father, to keep myself safe. Things could obvoisly be worse for me, but its still horribly unfair that ending my relationship with my parents is progressively looking like a more attractive option than putting up with the pain

He's been prowling around my home no matter where I move to in the last 12 years.. He is still prowling at my new home.. I ignore him. I do not respond. I keep my life clean and honest. He tries to scare me so that I will react.. I do not.. I am going about my life. I am hoping he will eventually give up.. I do, however, worry about my safety when I am out and about town.. I will not play his game any longer.

Start praying to God for protection, wisdom and guidance. ASK GOD TO TAKE HIM OUT OF YOUR LIFE FOR GOOD. then thank god daily until it becomes a reality. Don’t have anything more to do with him. Believe that god is protecting you while keeping your guard up.when he goes ask god for confirmation.🙏✝️

Really helpful! It’s awesome how you went into depth about the narcissist’s hate. When it first happens, it’s difficult to understand people act on hate, jealousy, (looks just like hate but with a twist!) and greed, etc.

A friend asked me to go away for a weekend to visit others. We had to share a room, twin beds. I asked for no pressure in the mornings and that I snored loudly. The next morning, he said aid how are you doing, breakfast is soon. 😮My boundary over stepped. The next evening he got his stuff and slept in his car, because of my snoring. Luckily the rain was torrential and I had a great night. He was still tired and told his friends what he did, talk about attention. Is this narcassistic traits from my so called friend. 🙏🏼

It sounds like a tough situation! It's important to communicate boundaries clearly, and sometimes people don’t understand or respect them. It might be worth having an honest conversation with your friend about how you both felt during the trip. :)

Mine rather handed the gun to me and said I could exit this world and my pain that he caused. He knows I'm sad and traumatized to the point that I would welcome death. But the commandments of God keeps me from doing it. One being thou shalt not commit murder. God created me so I don't have a right to end my life no matter how difficult
