I totally relate to the just confused one. I feel myself often fighting the urge to run away. Particularly over certain health problems my GF has that could make it harder to have kids or force me to become a caregiver, limiting my career when we get older. But I don't think I can give up on her, too much about her and me lines up just right, and I warm up to alternative solutions to my concerns about her medical conditions when I think about it more. I feel it would be foolish to pull the trigger on our relationship over problems that could be solved if we work smart enough and hard enough at it. Lol honestlyy. I feel like I personally invested so much into my close best friend, and really was a romantic love at first to a platonic love to it always redirects romantically. It's the worst cause they were someone I grew up with and had my first love with. They reciprocate a very little bit & then tell me things like, they're of a different sexual orientation (which honestly is so questionable because they behave so very fluidly like bisexual but say they're gay but are likely straight in person: cause they can act another way online but be diff. in person). They're so indecisive & fickle. Overall just really did too much wrongs towards me but suddenly it's like, yesterday out of the blue I was subconsciously joking & it kind of led to seducing, he reciprocated but then turned it down because he said he's more of a one person kind of guy, and that he talks to others (I accidentally forgot he's been talking to other people regardless of him mentioning it to me weeks before 😪 we've been close & intimate for nearly 9 years). Anyway, seems like the best option is just to leave them but it's not easy when you had love for them & partially don't want to face being alone completely. Even bothers me that they know this. It leaves me battling with anxiety & just sadness at times over how wrong they had me, to where I'm seeing it as maybe I just allowed it (I was young & it's not easy to handle leaving said person). Another option was to just apologize, and move forward from it. Which I'd likely be doing but it's just turmoil at times.

I've been on the "leading on" side of things, but not intentionally. I was confused about my feelings, and wanted to take time to feel things out. I was super back and forth in my head, it really depended on the day. I was waiting to know exactly what to do, and I just got to a point where I knew an answer wasn't going to appear in the sky. It was really hard, but I knew that I couldn't let it go on. He was hurt and confused, but handled it really well. He's still one of my best friends, and he doesn't hold it against me, but I still feel awful about it. I didn't do anything intentionally to hurt him, but I still did. My boyfriend has to hide the fact that he is gay from his parents, and his parents also (at least until recently) watched him like a hawk, so he had to stay off the social media we use to connect at certain times. Always clarify with your partner about your feelings concerning this ghosting. If they can't give you a real, concrete reason, that is when you should be suspicious. Especially so when grouped together with other behavior in this video.
