My new habits that actually work: 1) wake up at around 9 to 9:15 a.m. 2) have a filling protein-filled breakfast 3) drink water and only water whenever I'm actually thirsty instead of juice or soft drinks 4) go outside and walk every day for an hour and touch the grass 5) mostly stick to cooking homemade meals instead of fast food for lunch 6) only 30 minutes of social media such as tiktok per day 7) use my free time right before bed and go to sleep when I start feeling tired These were suggested by you in previous videos and have actually helped me with my mental health♡

About the juice thing, if occasionally you want some juice as a treat, I suggest going for a healthier one. I've been drinking the mango juice from the Naked brand, and it's actually incredibly good. I usually don't like healthy tasting stuff, but it's awesome. Obviously it's still a good idea to have it in moderation, but sometimes it's nice to have a different beverage besides simply water.

Remarkable person reading this.. It’s going to get better; all it is a season of opportunity to grow and be better than before. Challenging times are meant to strengthen us, not to break us. Success doesn’t define to what happened to us; it is how we choose to deal with our circumstances. The more you grow and develop as an incredible person as you are, the more things will change for the better. Forgive more (for you), be grateful for even the smallest things (we have it way better than someone else), choose love over ego, choose humility over ego (humility is strength), and finally, invest into new skills so that your future self will thank you. Our lives will change forever the more we grow. Be thankful for the challenges for we know something greater is coming. Love you always - Nathalie ✨❤️

I have a simple rule when it comes to habits - do something everyday for mind, body and soul. For body - have at least one healthy meal (if not then at least some fresh fruit or vegetables) and get some exercise in fresh air. That could be run, bike ride, swim, dance or a simple stretch. For mind - read a book, read a good article, catch up with news, solve a problem, plan something etc. For soul - mediate, take walks, meet friends, have a good conversation or do something that just gives me pleasure without any other responsibilities. As someone who got diagnosed with clinical depression (and is now rehabilitating) it's important for me not to overwhelmed myself with too many habits or goals. I take every day as it comes and adjust to how much I can actually do that day.

I kinda never feel thirsty, so the part about staying hydrated is really hard for me.. My husband gifted me a bracelet though, which vibrates every hour, to remind me of drinking water :) Gettin up earlier is another hard point. I have three adorable little daughters and they seem to be having some kind of magical connection! The reason I'm saying this, is the fact that it's always 2 of them being quiet at night and the third is keeping me awake half of it. Taking turns of course, so it's not always the same girl giving mommy a hard time x) as soon as she's finally asleep again, the next starts calling for me. So.. Not having gotten a full nights sleep for 5 years, getting up early is kinda tough^^' so my day usually starts around 7 AM.

Hello loves! I hope you're doing well. If you're not, that's totally okay. If you are doing well I'm glad to hear that! Either way, please take good care of yourself ok? Do some small things, drink some water, eat a small snack, take a deep breath, stand up for a few seconds. I'm so proud of you and how far you've come. You're doing so well and you've overcome so many challenges. You're worth it, and you deserve the best!

One good habit to add to the list would be to never ask anybody for help under any circumstance. Why have someone hold something over you like you owe them a huge favour? I quit asking for favours in 1999. It was on a Thursday.
@Vlidery13
@Vlidery13 Жыл бұрын
This is bad advise. There are things you can't do on your own. You can't be your own therapist. Moving on your own is really hard. Asking for help isn't a bad thing, the people who will ask ridiculous things in return are a bad thing.
@indridcold8433
@indridcold8433 Жыл бұрын
@@Vlidery13 I have moved completely alone twice, with the third time coming the 9th of October of this year 2022 because was destroyed by fire. Moving alone is the only way I know how to move. As for therapy, I did that once with a therapist. It was counter productive. It made me focus on the issue so much that it made me feel much worse. I will never understand how that could ever help anybody, although it sees it does. It just does not help me and I will never go to a therapy session again. It is not in my nature to talk to others. Besides, a therapist is not part of your life. It is a service provider. For instance, there is someone in the electricity plant controlling the coal feed into the boilers to produce steam, that turns a steam turbine, that turns the generators. I will never meet that person. But that person does effect my life. That person is a service provider.
@soslothful
@soslothful Жыл бұрын
If someone you ask for help holds that over you that is a flaw on that person's part. A friend would be helpful without expectation of reciprocation.
@indridcold8433
@indridcold8433 Жыл бұрын
@@soslothful I must agree. However, I have failed to find anybody like that. This is obvious that either there are no people left worthy to make into a friend or, more likely, I have no clue how to find a sincere friend. Regardless, I quit looking for friends long ago. I started believing the second scenario listed about me not having a clue how to find a sincere friend, nor even how to detect them. I quit looking for friends and all manner of interpersonal, social, contacts on the 8th of August 2000 at 18:34. I decided to simplify things and just depend on myself. In the last 22 years I have become super self-reliant, extremely independent, and extremely resourceful because I know I have absolutely nobody to help me. It is amazing what one can accomplish completely alone when there is no recourse of finding help from others.

I have to laugh at the "stay hydrated" directive, because my problem is usually the opposite. The part of my brain that regulates thirst was damaged 3/4 of a lifetime ago, and I've acutely overdosed on water because my brain doesn't know when my first has been satisfied. Sometimes I compensate by drinking coffee or other diuretics, but there's nothing better than a talk glass of water--no ice.
