Mark, thanks for sharing your guest room setup. Watching these types of videos last year is what brought me into the VC realm, as it were! I love those old stereo systems, and that RCA Victor log for one's 78's is a beauty. Digging this series, as you know! 😎🎶 All those amazing Pearl Jam 45's..wow.

Thanks, Ed. I've always enjoyed room tours. It's amazing how much time and effort people put into their collections.

Hi Mark - The original shelf was a monster and a thing of beauty! Nice to see you got it cut in half. You have lots of Pearl Jam 🙂 Thanks for the tour.

It was a tough call to make, but I had to cut the shelf because there was no room in my home to accommodate it. Thanks, Brian.

Beautiful shelf, happy to see such a beauty get a new lease on life. And the memories attatched too. I love the Pixies poster. Oh hey! I recently showed a R. Crumb book in one of my videos as well. Which one did you have there? I’m a big fan of his, and Pearl Jam. We both have the Clash Sound System too! Awesome. Thank you for showing your music room. Cheers from Morten now back in Oslo.

Hi Morten, Thanks for the kind words. The shelf turned out better than I'd expected. I'll feature the book in the next 7-inch singles video. I've also got some trading cards I can show you. The Clash Sound System is a great set. One of my prized possessions. I’m glad you enjoyed the tour. Cheers

cool room set up mark. i see ya picked up van halen tokyo dome. we had one of those stereo cabinets when i was a kid. it was probably twice the length. “i have…. i have a problem” hahah. Ya just never got your fix of the fixer single i guess. love the homage to motown and jackson 5 christmas album on that one. quite the collection dude.

Hi Steve, I just wanted to give you a quick update. After the video, I started re-sleeving the 45s and noticed that some of the Fixer singles were white wax and some were black. No excuse, but it makes more sense. I hope to catch up with you within the next week. Looking forward to chatting. The Tokyo Dome box is excellent. Thank you.

@@mad4vinyl802 yeh i never picked up the tokyo dome vinyl. have the CD. a few years ago when my VH fanaticism was still fully intact I dont think I wouldve hesitated to grab both. But it’s (finally) waned over the years.

Mark, that was like a walk through a museum, so much amazing stuff. Loved that old book to write in your 78s. So much fun seeing all the different things. That was an incredible amount of Pearl Jam. Correct me if I’m wrong, were you not in a Pearl Jam fan club? Amazing you found all of these 45s.

I'm still a member of the PJ Ten club. As with everything else, the price of items purchased from the club has increased. They charge a lot for shipping, but I'm willing to pay it. (Sucker) I love those old Amtrak posters! Thanks, Steve

Room looks way different now. When I first saw the title of video I was thinking PJ Harvey singles. I remember seeing way more cd and maybe tape singles of Pearl Jam, never saw record singles growing up for band. ¿Did you ever get into Stones solo record Bayleaf?
@mad4vinyl8022 ай бұрын
I had to move some things around to make room for the shelf, and I think it looks great. To be honest, I don't know if I have any PJ Harvey singles. I do own Bayleaf on CD, though. I'd have to give it another listen. It's been so long. I don't remember the music. Hope your week is going well.
