I’m a 30 year old that got her cosmetology license back in my teens and never actually pursued it because I didn’t enjoy hair cutting and coloring and I thought those were the only money makers so I made the mistake of letting it go. The things I actually enjoy are bold makeup looks and hairstyles and people often ask if I can do their makeup and it makes me so nervous and doubt my skills so much that I often turn them down. I just found your channel and you’ve already given me the ✨CONFIDENCE✨to pursue something I’m passionate about and truly enjoy and I can’t wait to see what lies ahead. That's such a good point about cosmetology school. There are so many things they have to go over, you're really only practicing to proficiency things that will be on the state exam. And some things that haven't been on for years. Like finger waves or pin curls. The makeup we used in school was thick costume makeup and we'd use it on girls getting ready for prom. I imagine it was horrible to wash off 😬
