I appreciate the fact that he speaks so slowly and clearly, and takes the time to explain the use of each product and how to apply it and what kind of technique to use. Most of all I appreciate the fact that there is no obnoxious music playing like with so many of the hair and make up tutorials. Very nicely done.

The girl is a coquette,and not a natural one, which is a big turn-off. If I was in place of her make-up artist, I would be very tempted to clip her on the forehead with the make-up brush to make her stand still and stop darting her eyes. Her skin is ok due to her young age, but her looks are not the ones of the outstanding beauty.

IDIOT.....if you have acne, acner scars, pimples...you don't need foundation you need an effective skin care system. See a dermatologist. Make up (foundation) only hides imperfection NOT cure it. You miss the whole point of the video, you moron.
@KatieCochran6 жыл бұрын
F. Reyes Actually, you’re the idiot who seems to lack basic comprehension skills. She isn’t saying how to cure it, she’s saying how to cover it up. If you want to see how effective the products cover up what it claims to cover up, you’re going to want to use a model with imperfections as opposed to flawless skin like this model has. While having clear skin should always be the end goal, it may be important to learn how to cover those imperfections in the interim, and she’s saying how it’s important to showcase how well the products work with people who have imperfect skin as opposed to clear skin. The point of the video IS TO HIDE imperfections- that’s one of the main points of makeup. Get an education, will you, moron?

Something soothing about his voice and the methodical way he applies make up. I like this video very much. Most of the techniques he did are doable. Might not be for faces with a lot of blemishes or freckles or zits to cover up, but it's great for the average skin (i.e,. minor dark circles, and blemishes). Bobbi Brown never disappoints!
@roxyrox135796 жыл бұрын
I like how he used the word “polished” for the model. The key to makeup is to emphasise the features you already have to give a clean, awake presentation of yourself... rather than plastering, smothering or painting over your face
@gillianwills90496 жыл бұрын
Makeup doesn't have to be natural. I personally think that the base is the only thing that needs to be "natural", but bright, fun colours are great for eyeshadow and and lip colour. Makeup can be an expression of individuality and artistry and it's not permanent, so experimenting is fun.

I enjoyed this make up refresher. The educator did a great job explaining the basic use of make-up, brushes and product description. I like how he kept it simple. As a BOBBI BROWN certified artist, having worked 2.5 years in this arena I’ve learned many things about applying make-up, even before I landed at BB. I’ve never considered myself a fan of anything; but I do strongly admire the woman who put HER passions to work and rocked my world with her book. I came across this book long before I went to Von Lee to learn make up artistry and years later came full circle to that very book and found myself at a BB make up counter. It’s a blog in itself. Suffice to say I am forever grateful for my experience with HER BRAND.

I think you should use a model with less perfect skin to demonstrate the effectiveness of your products! It doesn‘t have to be an older woman but at least someone struggling with discoloration or other imperfections. This model is so young and her skin is so even, she doesn’t need layers and layers. Other than that I loved it! I‘m a huge fan, just wish you‘d bring Bobbi back. BB will never feel the same to me without her!

All the “but she’s a perfect young model, no fair!” comments... I can understand why the use of a young model is bothersome to people. But there are reasons why models are used in these demos. They need a person who is used to being on camera and has a face that looks good on camera. A pretty face isn’t always photogenic, but a model’s face is. They need a complexion that can be a canvas, so to speak. Sometimes when I see a demo with an older woman or one who has bad skin, it can take on an insulting vibe. Like “you’re so hideous with your wrinkles and zits, let’s fix you!”. You can still take away useful techniques from these demos regardless of the model used. And I’m 46!

I agree. I used some of these products to mature women and models or clients with problematic skin. It works well! The eye cream from Bobbi Brown is amazing btw! ❤

That's what you call a Professional Make Up Artist; he thoroughly explains what he is doing and shows the application and finished look. There is nothing worse than a MUA that's all over the place and talks too fast, LOL

You've got your work cut out for you. I was looking at stars and models( mostly actresses) before and after makeup. Sorry to say some of them are downright UGLY. So most of it is Makeup. I wear none. Im almost 53 and everyone comments on how good my skin looks. Dont wear it. Maybe if I did Id be model gorgeous too. 😂 Good luck...
