Due to the lock-downs, I have been inviting my close friends at home for dinners instead of going out to eat (way to scared to be inside a restaurant right now). I think it has made it easier to cut back on spending & still have fun with friends! Also going on hikes / working out instead of spending money on dinner is a great activity!

I LOVE THIS CHANNEL! I'd like to leave a comment and just say Patricia is THE ONE for advice. Years ago I confided in her I was having trouble with money and structure and it was mostly down to the fact I wasn't financially literate. My family isn't, I didn't know any better. She showed me 1) it's not the amount I had coming in, it's how I was managing the incomings and 2) showed me structure, how to save effectively. Those lessons are on here and crazy valuable and changed my entire mindset about money. She knows her stuff.

Best tip! The mindset about money is the biggest barrier and something you constantly have to work on so you don't go the extreme or frugal way!

I literally read the first pages with tears in my eyes, a lot of the things you said about your experiences in early years was so relatable. @@lolojack5109 My issue is with my sister. I feel guilty if I don't help her, but I have stopped and now it kind of gets thrown in my face. I helped my uncle get a lease for a car and when it was time to turn in the lease he didn't want to pay the mileage difference which was almost 13,000. He just finish paying it off last month after a year and a half. My credit score dropped 200 points. Just devastated!!!

Now with bank apps it's easier to control you money, at least in my opinion! First things first, I pay all I am obligated to and then put the money I have stablish to savings. That really helps because you only use what you have on our account.
