5:07 ,,To build your emotional intelligence, you need to force yourself out of your comfort zone." THAT is totally true and makes your life SOO much easier in the long run. It's like an investment in your future life-style. It basically means *short-term pain = long term* gain in regard to emotional intelligence.

This reminds me of when I learned not to say I'm angry but instead I have a feeling of anger in me... Because saying I'm angry means I'm like Frankenstein vs saying I have a feeling of anger means it's temporary and will pass.

Key to mastering emotions, do what brings you joy and fulfillment. Identify and turn from that which brings only emptiness or grief. Identify, systematize, implement.

I’m definitely applying what I learn in your videos to my life! Use to be an angry person walking around thinking I was mad due to actions and characteristics of others but I just wasn’t happy with myself and where I’m at so I’m striving to stop burying emotions and learning new ways to deal with stress and anger. Thank you!!

I have fully mastered my emotions. I have not been angry since 2000. I can stay stowic through anything. Emotions are mainly a byproduct of socialization. If one socially isolates one's self, you will find that emotions were heavily influenced by the emotions of others, especially your peers. Since I am socially isolated, emotions serve little purpose in my life. Thus, I experience emotions much more sporadically than most experience them. They are also much weaker than the emotions others experience. This simplifies life.
@meropale
@meropale 4 жыл бұрын
It sounds more like suppression and avoidance of situations that would make you feel emotional rather than a true mastering of emotions. Feeling emotions is simply a part of being human. Also, it is spelled stoic.
@Elizabeth-yg2mg
@Elizabeth-yg2mg 3 жыл бұрын
Emotions tell us what is good or bad, what we need. All animals, humans included, have emotions. Anger is good--it energizes and tells us when we are in danger. Anger would not have evolved in us and other animals if it didn't have a purpose. Your last name sure fits.
@indridcold8433
@indridcold8433 3 жыл бұрын
@@Elizabeth-yg2mg I have never been angry at a dangerous situation, nor in a dangerous situation. But, as I mentioned, I have fully mastered my emotions. Emotions are part of humans to enable them to socialize more successfully, for the most part. Of course, fear does have a much more useful purpose than to just facilitate interpersonal interactions in a social environment. Anger truly serves no logical reason, unlike fear which does serve a very useful purpose. Emotions serve little reason in the 21st century.

Umbrella emotion is very great. Is true that bad emotions is very bad, expecially when you are sad. Is true nobody can wrap their emotion in my head which is true. Negative thinking will not make me feel uncomfortable about some positive things I am doing.I am keeping records about certain emotions that is happening around me. I am building my intellegent emotions by friends who are real and I can feel the warm love from them. I am way productive in any shape of life by the help of God. Frustration is when some body is driving so crazy when you are doing your work expecially. When you are so focus in doing your work at home. You don't want any body to frustrate you or your life sound educative video.
