I blame the people around me. I used to be a nurse in the NHS. And people from poverty tend to work in the NHS. Yes there’s exceptions but vast majority of nurses are poor and come from poverty. Luckily I started hanging around with a wealthy friend. I went into finance and I’m far from rich but I’ve doubled my salary and learnt about investing. Broke NHS people don’t invest.

I have been working hard and still putting my back into it. To the point where most ppl think work too hard, yet the same ppl will come and borrow, some don't even pay back. I changed roles within the same organisation to be around people that i could grow and learn from. That move also resulted in me deciding to go from part time to full time. We then all got a 7% raise...and also this new team has access to unlimited overtime. I am earning and learning the most I have ever in my life. Ken, I helped a friend make £250k in his business. He was so grateful he told me that himself. He offered me money. I refused on the basis when I’m ready to start that same venture, he would support me to get off my feet. This business is cash intensive. When I was ready to start, I told him. His proposal was let’s go in together with terms which meant I would have had to let go off my main job. This was a huge risk because that job pays my mortgage. I decided to invest on my own, still this friend could have helped me in some way so I could survive but nothing came of it. You see I ended up losing £ thousands. By God’s grace I’m still here and thriving but I have vowed never to help anyone for free, because when I need help people shy away.
