Absolutely agree with these. Eye contact is super important to me. I guess it implies confidence and i like confident men. Also hands. Do you know what i think if i meet someone and am attracted to him? I'm glancing at his hands and thinking "would those hands be like sandpaper if he touched me?" 😳 Touching may be well down the track but if his hands look as if they would abrade your skin, it isn't a nice thought. A little handcream is sometimes necessary if a man is in a physical trade. Great thoughts, Carey. 😊

Thanks, Dawn. and yes, direct eye contact definitely makes a bold statement!

Great advice. Here’s 1 additional thing I do sometimes. I take my 5yo grandson with me places. He is a grandma magnet. I have been working with him to say my grandpa thinks you’re attractive. If nothing else it’s fun.

❤️ Any excuse to spend time with grandkids!!! That would not work on this grandmother. I don’t like kids. Just my own. 😆

This would have worked for me if you said you brought your dog. Grandkids - imply that you are an on-call babysitter - and raising kids is something I want to be done with. Now don't get me wrong - I'm not talking about the kids and grandkids visiting with you from out of town for a few days or a long weekend, or the grandkids spending 2 weeks during the summer holidays with you. That's what family does - I'm referring to them being at your house every afternoon or living with you every weekend.

I was a single dad and from little on I had a house full of little boys. Pals who stayed over night and over summer and holidays. 4-5-6 at a time.. Best years of my life. I built a work at home business in the early 90s so I made the meals and met school buses. When I have the chance I take on my three grandsons for as long as I can. Love them kids. Great for attracting childless NYC career women from NYC. Lots of those available. A dog. Never wanted one.@@ssiegreen5292

Some of us don't find any facial hair attractive lol. Great video. I especially like what you said about approachability. Confidence is important, sure, but so is kindness and interest in the other person. Which I think is actually also an indicator of confidence.

True that. some love the smooth face. ;) This is not a list of the qualities women want. Thats a different episode ;). It’s a list of what they notice first. You can’t notice kindness and curiosity without first getting to know someone. 👍

What do I notice first??? Height and build. Sorry - I know it's such a cliché - but at 5'10 - height does matter somewhat to me - not as much as it did in my younger years, but it still gets me to notice and give a second look. Bonus points if you're well over 6' - sorry cliché cliché cliché - I know! Second - eyes and facial expressions, including micro expressions with #3 body language. After that it filters down into my more personal preferences - but as I got older, they have gotten more general. It matters more to me who you are on the inside than on the outside. Clean cut, neat and taken care off - no matter whether you have hair or not, wear glasses or not, have a beard or mustache or not. Smell good but not overpowering or headache inducing. Comfortable clothes that fit well. I have more of a leaning towards a man rocking jeans and boots [with a cowboy boot heel or even steel toed work boots] or nice leather shoes [oxfords, derbies, brogues etc] if he chooses to dress up a bit, over loafers, sneakers, sandals or heavens help me - flipflops. And I want those jeans or pants to stay up - and not show your underwear or worse when you bend over, so a belt is nice, but not necessary if they stay up otherwise, LOL

Oy, you always crack me up with how specific you are! Lol “steel toed work boots” 😆😆😆

@@CoffeewithCarey That's your fault! I've always liked them [men's boots] - but never really given it any specific thought until your recent clothing/appearance video, when I really mulled it over. I'm beginning to think all he needs is boots ROFL!!!

Men need to make sure their nose hair is trimmed. Nothing more unattractive than 1 inch nose hairs sticking out. Even after the first date. Check this before going out.
