What TRUTH was that?Praying to the dead.......Can Mary pray for us sinners if she is dead?Holy Catholic Church of JESUS changed to ROMAN Catholic Church with paganism infused and STILL calling it Catholic Church of JESUS?With Pagan rituals disguised as Christian?Man made rules from a Church taking precedent over the Bible?Point in case ....The Commandment saying not to make a graven image and not to bow down to it is not in the Roman Catholic ten commandments?Bowing down to any image ,even of JESUS and Mary ,is idolatory.Roman Catholic Church rules goes against Biblical teaching and JESUS Christ Our Saviour. But we all have Our Choices.I decided to follow My Father in Heaven. Not a father here on earth who makes his own rules and claims it to be from the FATHER Heaven.

@@amandarainbow4714 By the way, make sure to tune in to our channel on Sunday night. We have an interview with a Baptist convert to the Catholic church. We are interviewing him and his journey and he's talking about the problems of protestantism. His wife's family was one of the original families of the Reformation, and so it was no small task to leave two very anti-catholic families to become Catholic. But that is where Christ led them. Hi,Iam from Fiji Islands and most of what you said Sir is just common sense. I just became Catholic a year ago,but I taught my kids how to pray the rosary before that. And I taught them to fast every Fridays esp during Easter. My two teenage kids fast on fridays by not eating meat. 40 days to Easter we always do the 40 days of appreciation. For my kids to write down everyday for 40 days what they appreciate and also can write letters to those they appreciate ie friends, families,siblings,teachers...... Iqm not a cradle catholic but becoming a Catholic has really opened my eyes esp to understanding the scraments deeper. Coz the catholic church is structured in such a way that we get immensly connected to God. Thers no turning back from here. Humble Catholic right here.

Catholic doctrine regarding fasting only apply to those physically or medically able. Thus diabetics on insulin may eat before receiving the Eucharist those taking medications that require food can also eat before Mass although Catholics are encouraged to plan ahead to ensure they can eat over a hour before Mass, but if it is not possible the sick or elderly etc may eat due to their medical conditions.

In 1968 our church bulletin had a weekly article explaining the changes from Vatican ll and one of them explaining that we could eat meat on Fridays except during Lent. It also said we should instead choose to make a worthy sacrifice on Fridays. I was teaching Catechism at that time and it was a very interesting experience to see these changes coming along. There were some very interesting comments from people who chose to do a new sacrifice and those who to stuck to the old rules. I still lived with my parents and they were staying traditional and I chose to honor them by not eating meat on Fridays but also added a sacrifice of my own by doing a corporal act of mercy on Fridays.

Love your podcast. A thought I'd like to interject. Yes, Sundays and Holy Days are obligatory, but instead of feeling the onus of that command, why don't we look at it as an opportunity to show God our love for Him. We make the effort not out of a sense of avoiding a grave sin, but of love of God. We also can do this in every aspect of our lives. It will keep us from sin as well. It has done wonders for me. Zuzu there many Catholic martyrs a long time after Henry VIII, they were supported by English men who went to the continent to train for the priesthood and then returned to England. It would be better to say encouraged rather than forced to become Anglican: + if you didn't Baptise your child in an Anglican Church you were find. + if you didn't attend Anglican mass you were find. Therefore most Catholics would attend Anglican Mass but be disruptive: such as talking or playing card games etc. + fines were a week's or a month's pay ( I can't remember how much) + if you were the head of a monastery or a convent you were compensated for the loss of your order's property if you allowed the government to take over the property. Most people accepted the money because it made them very rich. + I think it was Queen Elizabeth I post Spanish Amanda who made it treasonous to be a Catholic Priest.

I was wishing that somebody can print up the examination of conscience with comments sections and put it printed out on paper and then coded with plastic seeing as I am dyslexic still haven’t figured this is the limit out been going at least once a month sometimes more but I always feel like I’m missing something especially since I was not born in this faith and left and I’m now back
