Everything you dislike about Germany is so much the same in Sweden. My three big reasons for getting out of Sweden is climate, cost of living and the cold unsocial Swedish people. Life as a pensioner in Sweden is not the life i want after working for 47 years. The positives of moving to Cyprus will heavily outnumber the negatives. Interesting Vlog Rocco. I can relate. When I was 15 my parents sent me from Cyprus to Berlin, Germany. I had to learn the language, complete high school, and then College. In as much as I enjoyed the city life I can relate to German negativity. Most people there I felt, had no interest becoming friends with foreigners ( this was the 70’s) I felt an outsider and it was tough to make friends. My neighbors just kept to themselves. I’m not anti German as my mother was German. Maybe the negativity had to do with the division of the City at the time. I left many years ago and enjoyed life in Cyprus, The UK, USA and now, the laid back lifestyle in Thailand. Will eventually end back in Cyprus. Now, my Condominum complex here in Thailand, is full of Germans and Austrians😜 but they are friendlier here. 😊

I'm not saying that I'm right here. Some people agree, and some people may not agree. I respect both of them". LG.

If you ask me, it's not about Germany as a whole in the first place, coming here and also having visited Greece, Romania and Bulgaria, I can say one thing, conservatives really suck, I don't wanna be political but it seems to be a running theme, the negatives from here apply to Romania and to Bulgaria as well, Greece tends to be more liberal but those negatives can be seen there too from what I've heard, I did talk to others about it and the same applies to France and to Italy as well it seems so... what can we learn from here? liberals and progresive people are the ones that would happily help you and care and see you as an equal, other more right wing people will just look down on you so, there ya go.

I can relate to all of that. Especially the school part is tragic since it is the pivotal point in development. It was a horrific time, and I think I became who I am not because of this system, but despite it. A dialogue I remember very vividly was in the "Philosophy" class (Which had the motto, correct is what the personal opinion of the teacher is, both what you can philosophically and logically deduct): Me "When will we be allowed to think for ourselves here?" Teacher: "Well, that is too risky at this point". - No joke. My favorite fee was "GEZ" I think. Being first to pay a substantial amount as a person, and a second time with your business for state-owned TV production, which is then not even free from ads :-D I often thought, how would other people feel if I start to send them Invoices for a random product they did not order and did not use :-D Especially if you look at the blatant money squandering of these institutions. Well, likely to create more part-time jobs for politicians etc. that earn them a monthly compensation that is more than some people make in a year. Ok, GKV is much worse, and hard to beat in hostility and double standards toward young entrepreneurs. I could go on.- But as mentioned, most people here know it anyway :-D

PS: Any yes. I miss public transport here. But the DB... I can remember all too well paying more than it would have taken to fly on some occasions while not even having a seat (which I paid extra for) for 7 hours. - Or being stranded for hours, or even over the night, at random train stations. :-D

the most interesting part about the video is the comments actually. Being originally from Russia (Saint Petersburg to be precise) and born in 94 I kinda felt that in my gut. Lots of older russians or young ones from small town really wanted to emigrate to EU. But honestly, when I was traveling to EU it always stroke that they do not live freely actually. We were going to Finland like 3-5 times per year just to hang out, see some concerts, rent a house on a lake and smth like this (absolutely love Finnish people btw:) but older people there were all "dead inside". I honestly believe that Eastern Europe now, along with places like Cyprus, maybe Portugal are the go to places. Cheap, safe, not that bureaucratic, more young people with entrepreneurial mindset, easier to do business. Honestly, before the war I would say that Tallin, Saint P, Kiev, Odessa, Krakow were like one of the best places to live in Europe. Mayyybe everything is like this in Europe because the median age in most of west EU countries is like 45+, which is insane. dunno

It's this big secret that no one is willing to openly talk about because places like America LOVE pointing out how great the medical systems are in Europe...meanwhile they are completely falling apart. It takes forever to get an appointment, the doctors are completely overworked and don't give a crap, and since you can't take legal repercussions they don't really worry about if they are actually helping - NOT TO MENTION how many benefits have already been lost because the system is completely falling apart.... and as you said, the rules among rules among rules aren't helping.

I am so proud of you, you did get good ethics, probably from your parents. I always talk about you, you are professional, fun, and so SMART! Keep doing what you are doing, maybe, even start traveling some more, I think you are the BEST!! I am so sorry to hear that about Germany, I would never make it there…… my son loved it, but he was a contractor with the Army. He is back in the States. He was just a guest, from the states. Cyprus is wonderful, but I see you to be a world wide known, your personality is so sweet, but still good business mind. You are well rounded! I always tell my friends about you!! I say Listen to RICO!!

Thank you so much for the positive words, Cynthia. I love it! I appreciate it a lot when people comment the videos. It motivates me every time to see that people like watching them. Where are you currently located? US or Cyprus? Thanks for sharing my channel with other people.

I would disagree with the point you made about jobless people. Sure, Germany is one of the best countries when it comes to caring for the jobless people, but it's still very stressful. For one, you cannot get Hartz-IV/Bürgergeld if you just don't wanna work a job. I grew up in a single parent household and my mother constantly had to send applications to jobs with few hours and low pay that don't fit her education, with the last few she had having a terribly disrespectful management and team. Furthermore, you cannot sell your stuff for profit and the Arbeitsamt tries to cut corners wherever they can. And not to mention that the paperwork is a hassle to because the job center of a modern country apparently can't do that stuff digitally. And it's also worth to mention that getting out of joblessness is just really difficult because you'll only get those low paying jobs with few hours, especially if you haven't worked in a while because you were homeless or had to raise a kid.

I did what I wanted to do - I don't say it is easy but it is possible. If you just pack up and leave - I can't help but feel that you are a coward and/or traitor. How is Germany supposed to become better, when you just leave instead of trying to change what is bad?

Sounds much like Russia... Russian school is also conservative, teachers yelling "who do you think you are?!"... And people closed minded and complain about everything and hate ones in expensive cars.

I never Watched tv but every single months i pay 55.08 Euro 💶 i dont know why. If will not pay sofort kommt Strafe 😊 Parkplatz Also problem But Internet is very good o didn't see any Jealousy for ther Germany people

Actually you are just generalising things. To utter flat stuff like: "German society is like..." cannot be true. It really depends on the surrounding (Rural, Urban, Western, Nothern, Southern or Eastern), on your way of being socialised, your education and off course your information bubble. I mostly experience people that listen to you if you found your opinion on facts, name the origin of the piece of information you quote. In every society you will find dull and stupid people and we recognise a right shift in Euope coming from laziness in thinking and poor information. You will never find simple answers to complex questions or problems. I assume that even where you live now you will find similar mechanisms maybe wrapped in other papers :)

This is such a huge overreaction!I agree with almost everything mentioned, but overall it's not as bad as you presented.70% of the World doesn't have warm water, warm meal, power and other stuff on daily basis and than you hear people like you crying about all the great stuff that can be achieved here.I agree 100% Germany is not perfect, but we have to be gratefull what we have. Some things we have here are not at all guaranteed at other places. You're banging about Germany like it's a third-world country. You feel yourself better elsewhere?Fine, but i find it unfair to degrade this country in such way and not to see the positive side of it. I repeat,i understand your points, but it's a huge overreaction and an extremely negative one.I do respect your opinion, but i see this country in a much better light.I moved here 10 years ago and will always be gratefull what Germany gave me. Cheers...
