Very mature view for person that young. It would be great for other young people to listen to opinions like this, not rigid ones which are very common in many countries. To learn how to open their minds. In Slovakia it is very similar to what you described in Germany :) Anyway, keep up, fingers crossed.

Very nice vlog! I’m going full circle ( or almost) I lived in Cyprus as a boy to a Greek Cypriot Dad and a German Mom. They sent me to Berlin to live with my German Grandmother. Had to learn the language and attend school. Although I had great experiences in Berlin, I must say I didn’t fit in very well and for most of the reasons you mention. I finally moved to London for 7 years and then on to California where I became a US citizen. More recently I moved to Thailand. I will most likely complete the full circle and settle in Cyprus in the near future. Like the Cypriots say. “There is no country like Cyprus” They are probably right! Good luck with all your endeavors in Cyprus.

Congratulations to you! I applaud your vision and courage. I felt that my country was not a fit for me either, so I got permanent residency in Panama. I hope to divide my year between Panama and Cyprus now, so I am laying the groundwork for Cypriot residency as well. Can't wait to find my place where I can meet like minded people and not feel a weirdo anymore. People just too comfortable here in the rat race bro, they don't want to live it. Thank you for your opinion and honesty. And please continue to follow your heart because he's the only one who knows what's the best for you ;-) Just a question regarding the internet in Cyprus : what about the broadband connection quality (not mobile) and speed ? because following "CyprusMail", the speed increased in 2020 from 11 Mbps to 15.62 Mbps (only). And following comments read, it depends a lot of the staying place. What's your experience ?

Hey there, thank you very much for your comment, I really appreciate it. I lived in Limassol and Paphos and visited many friends all over the island, and I never experienced bad internet speed so that I couldn't work. The worst internet is probably in public cafés and the best in coworking spaces. This is also why I always go to my coworking space whenever I want to download/upload big files. Hope this helps, I wish you a great time! :)

Hello Rico, I totally agree with you. But I am very curious about your opinion and experience with pollution in Cyprus (Garbages everywhere even in nature, water is not drinkable in most of the cases...), for me personally this is also "soaking energy" not only the people but also the enviroment. @@MyDsmall Cyprus is actually a very popular destination for retirement. I see many advertisements all around Cyprus about retiring here. I also know a lot of people that live in Cyprus now with a house, pool and close to the beach because the prices are more affordable than in many other countries.
