I teared up a bit when you mentioned school stress. I used to be a really good student, but when I got into highschool the expectations were terribly high and I ended up not being able to keep up (also due to some other events I believe). I barely managed to graduate, and was depersonalized by the end of it. I suspect there are other things that have contributed to my dpdr, but my current therapist doesn't seem to "get it" entirely. Thank you for all the work you do. It's much appreciated.

Jordan I cannot thank you enough. I have had a terrifying few months of dpr and am now getting back into my body (quit drinking, exercising, changing my diet, scaling back stressful work). Your videos resonated profoundly and have given me hope. I keep telling myself I'm a complex trauma recoverer not sufferer. I still have a way to go but you bring massive relief.

After 1+ year of feeling it 24/7 the symptoms are definitely terrifying and become a focus it makes sense that so many think this way. Its intuitive too.

Jordan, you are a truly a hero! Thank you for helping us all out here ❤ I would love a video on how to keep a preventative lifestyle while being a parent. Would like to be a mom, but I am wondering if the pregnancy hormones, the sleepless nights, less time for myself etc. will ruin all of the good work I have been doing in the last years.

Would love your opinion on this one. I’ll try and make it short. Very traumatic childhood, age 11 had my very first panic attack in the bathtub. I was alone in my house that day. Following that I went into complete depersonalization. Nonstop 24 seven up until the age of 24. I started drinking and it basically got rid of it although I’m not advocating for alcohol. I have done so much interwork so so much healing. It’s unbelievable I would love to actually share my story one day to help others. Here’s the thing I recently Started healing some trauma with my parents. A lot of anger has been coming up as of about a month or so ago when I started diving a bit deeper I’m now stuck in deep personalization again 24 seven. It doesn’t make me anxious because I know what it is, but it is uncomfortable and I’ve been trying to just witness the feelings and allow it to be here. But why is it here? I’m not under any stress whatsoever
