Yeah I like living alone then I interact with people because I get a wave of loneliness and then I realize y it’s so great living alone. It’s a never ending cycle

Haha, absolute truth. How long do your cycles last? I heard most of those cycles last like 3 months. 🤣

I would actually prefer living alone.....for now. It's just sometimes living with people can be a headache at times, and so I feel living alone and taking care of yourself is more important before you want to live with other people.

The place I’m thinking of moving to has an affordable rent program where they pair you with a roommate. I’m going to make sure I know how to have my roommate replaced if needed, but I’m not expecting too many problems. Most people are pretty chill, and I don’t expect that to be much different with roommates, especially once we negotiate the ground rules and get them in writing.

Yeah, roommates can be great! Especially if you set up the boundaries and expectations in the beginning!

@@AdultingShouldntSuck my favorite video so far has to be how to build credit because I had no idea what credit was because nobody ever talked about it growing up and now that I’m ready to move out I’m just now learn that I need credit. I wish I would have know about it earlier because I’m 21 now but from watching you guys video I know where to start now. And I’m so thank for people like y’all who are teaching kids so the don’t have to be so clueless like i was.

Men can’t not be alone…. They always remarry. Women love their freedom… Being on your own is better than having room mates.. If your that scared, and your well into your 20’s, your personal development is stunted as hell.😊. Living with your parents forever will stop you from growing up. I have plenty of neighbors that I talk to all the time.

@@beefy_predictions5285 Yeah, that can be an issue. But you can always advertise an room to rent and find someone to rent to! People are always looking for places to rent and if you’re out in the country, that could really appeal to some people.

Rich kids can move out poor and middle class can’t. It’s life.
@AdultingShouldntSuck
@AdultingShouldntSuck 3 жыл бұрын
I actually don’t 100% agree with that. It might be easier for the kids with rich parents to move out, but speaking from my own personal experience, I came from a single parent home and we were very poor. We’re talking Section 8 housing, state assistance with food stamps and money, WIC, and all other programs you can think of. I moved out at 18 without a job, without savings, and without any other kinda help from family or friends. I think it ultimately boils down to how badly the individual wants it. Rich or poor, if they want it bad enough, they will make it happen.
